This was the 2nd place I went to go wedding gown shopping, when i walked into the establishment i was immediately greeted by a gentleman. I was early for my appointment so i expected to just sit and wait, he immediately took me to the back room and started asking questions and pulling dresses. Then he asked one of the seamstress to help since my bridal consultant was still with her other appointment. She was awesome as well helping me into my first dress and gave some suggestions on ways to make the dress my own. And then my consultant came in and she went to town getting more dresses and a veil and headpiece. She put me in a dress i never would have thought i would like… And i think i am going back to get it. Awesome experience and will suggest to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

Went here with my mother to look at wedding dresses, the woman was so rude! She acted like we were Inconveniencing her by wanting to look at dresses. Then she got nasty with me because I didn’t have an exact date set for the wedding! I guess even though I had my engagement ring on they thought I was making it up! We just walked out and went to David’s Bridal down the road!

This was the 5th store I went to look to get my bridal gown. I worked with Aileen, she was so kind and accommodating. She was never pushy and asked me what exactly I was looking for. She picked all the dropwaist ballgowns and I tried them on. I finally found one I liked but wanted to get more opinions. She never made me leave a deposit she was sweet about what kind of dress it was. I came back the next weekend and bought it. She has helped me with 2 sets of alterations. Every time I come in she helps me in my dress and she is so catering. I have also worked with 2 other ladies there that have ALL been nice. My dress came in on time, with no issues. I have my last fitting next week. I am so happy with this place and would definitely recommend!!!

I’ve read all the bad reviews. Please take the time to go and give this place a chance. I went there after going to David bridal and paradise bridal in Patchogue. I loved this place. I went for the allure trunk show. I didn’t try on one allure dress(they wouldn’t fit). Debbie helped me and my mood lighten quickly. After 2 stores and seeing pretty dresses that made me look HUGE I wanted nothing to do with dress shopping. She put me in dress after dress that I looked amazing in. She let me take the whole dress in without input. And only did the salesperson thing when my Mother, Grandmother or I asked for her input. I wasn’t being sold a dress, I was being treated like I mattered. There was no one else in the same area trying on dresses. I didn’t buy a dress, wasn’t asked for a deposit. We simply set a second appointment because I couldn’t pick one. I can’t wait till this moth is over then I go back and try one my favorites and pick the one! I had a great experience years ago when I was in my friends wedding. I’m happy!

My mother and I went to this shop for the Mother of Bride store. We worked with a lovely woman(British accent) and the owner(i’m horrible with names). HEWASAMAZING and i would HIGHLY recommend going to this store and working with him. We even went back with an issue after we already left a despoit and he was nothing but accomodating, understanding and just wanted to make my mom happy. 5 stars Edit: I did go back for my flower girl dresses and worked with one of the women in the store. she was not as pleasant and accommodating. My wedding is a little over 3 months away and she basically said they couldn’t do anything for me. I would recommend request to work with the owner.

I am updating my original review just to explain the final outcome of my wedding dress. It was AMAZING. My experience from start to finish was outstanding. Never greeted by anything but smiling faces and helpful attitudes. Barbara was incredible and nailed every detail with grace, skill, and kindness. The seamstresses were quick and accurate. The others who also helped during my impromptu visits for whom I have no names were just as helpful and considerate as if they helped from the beginning. I HIGHLY recommend the bridal suite of centereach to anyone. I would definitely go back. Also, my mother in law went there for her dress without my knowing and had the same experience I had, nothing but a pleasurable experience! Thank you bridal suite and thank you Barbara!

This is the worst dress shop on LI. Granddaughter came to look at prom dresses. She sent a picture of a dress with at rip in the front and offered her 50 off a $ 500 dress. Her mother said no so the rude and unprofessional workers talked her into it. When my daughter found out she called to cancel. They refused to refund the deposit and charged another $ 100 to alter. She is going to the prom in a dress that is torn in the front and not hemmed correctly. TY for the great experience!!! Walmart treats you better!!!

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE. Had the worst experience. The women in here are so nasty, especially Barbara. She insulted my whole family and failed to get us our bridesmaid dresses in time for my moms wedding. Last minute we had to order dresses online, it was a disaster.

My Fiancée and I went in to look for a flower girl dress. They said I could not leave the waiting room. They have no changing rooms so men are not welcome. The woman were extremely rude. Go anywhere else!

Ok, if you want to have a bad experience planning one the most important days of your life, then this is the place to go. My daughter picked out a color swatch for the bride’s maids’ gowns and when the order came in the color was different. Apparently the vender went out of business and one color was substituted for another. Thanks for letting us know! No apologies but an unbelievable whopping $ 75.00 was offered for a credit.(What an insult!) Wow maybe the $ 75.00 can magically change the color of the gowns. No return phone calls, no apologies, no way we are recommending this joint. This is an equal opportunity customer service challenged employer.

My experience at this establishment was a nightmare. I was part of a bridal party consisting of myself and 4 other women. We all went to the shop to be measured so that the dresses could be ordered precisely. Weeks later, I received my dress in the mail as I live out of state– much to my dismay, the dress was 3 inches too small at the waist. I called Bridal Suite to ask what to do and they assured my the dress could be taken out a size– however, when I went to a local seamstress, she informed me that the dress was extremely low quality, horrible patchwork and that it was made so that the size could not be taken out more than an inch. When I called the store livid, a manager, Kathy, was extremely rude and told me it was my own fault. The store measured me incorrectly, as was informed to me by my seamstress, and that they were 100% at fault. I received no apology, no compensation, not even a bit of empathy from the manager. Kathy was so rude in fact, she hung up the phone on me. In short, I had to pay an extra $ 160 to have the dress altered. Every bridesmaid in our party had difficulty with their dresses and even our maid of honor who had a different style dress, had to have straps put on a strapless because they ruined her dress– as she cried in the store, the employees told her it was her own fault. Do not shop here, especially if it involves Kathy’s management.

Bridal Suite of Centereach saved my wedding:-). Last week, 17 days before my wedding, my gown came in to a different store(we’ll call them boutique«A») damaged, for the second time… The bridal boutique I’d initially ordered from(«A») had allowed endless delays in dress delivery, and even after the dress came in damaged the first time, they insisted it would be fine the second time it came in… It wasn’t. There were HOLES all over it. The owner told me there was no way I could wear the damaged dress, and that he would give me a full refund… But that with 2 weeks before the wedding, I had no dress. In comes Bridal Suite of Centerach. My mom and I made a bunch of calls to wedding salons who sold samples and had«extra» or abandoned dresses in house(since 2 weeks before a wedding, you can’t really order a new dress). When I called Bridal Suite, Ginny, their receptionist said, «Don’t worry; come in; we can definitely help you.» When we arrived, the owner, John, a saleswoman, Barbara, and Ginny were all waiting for me despite the busyness of the store. Barbara took me into the bridal salon, and said, «I’m going to pull out every dress we have that’s your color and your size or bigger, and you just say, ’ I hate it’ or ‘I’m open to trying it.’» So that’s what we did. Desperation made me open-minded, and I tried things I wouldn’t have normally. When I put on an organza ballgown, I got tears in my eyes because I LOVED it(and was deeply relieved to have found something). There was a problem — this sample had JUST come in, and they weren’t technically allowed to sell it but the designer could not get it in in time either… Barbara went to John, who said, «Give her whatever she wants. We need to help her!» At that point, we chose the dress. Barbara said, «We’ve got to get you fitted today — your wedding is too close.» Then she went and got Effie, the seamstress. Let me tell you, the sample dress was 2 sizes too big and I was very nervous about this seamstress, who I’d never met, doing so many alterations(especially after reading the review below). Even though she’d been pulled away from what she was doing and was clearly very busy, she came over and said, «I love my brides! You’re beautiful! Come here!» and did all the fitting. She told me the dress would be ready a week later and we made an appointment to come back. A DAYAND A HALF later, Bridal Suite called and said, «Your dress is ready… You can try it on this afternoon if you want.» How did this happen? Effie had seen how nervous we were after our bad experience and so she came in on her off time and did my dress so I wouldn’t have to worry… Have you EVER heard of a bridal store doing things earlier than they promised? In addition to perfect alterations, she had bustled the under-layer of my dress(there’s probably a technical word for it but I don’t know it) and the organza/lace layer seperately so that when it was bustled, the whole back showed the lace, and so that if I wanted to pull the bottom layer into the bustle but leave the lace layer out for the first dance, I could. I told her that my only remaining concern was that the zipper looked sort of «open» and she said it was because of the beading. That made sense, and we left very happy. I came back 3 days later for a final fitting, and in addition to everything looking perfect, Effie had covered the whole zipper with dress-matching lace so that it didn’t look so open… Very few people I’ve seen in wedding planning go the extra mile just to make sure you feel comfortable. EVERYONE at Bridal Suite did this. One more example — The veil I loved couldn’t be ordered in time for the wedding. Rather than just accepting that, Ginny and the team there(1) called the manufacture(2) looked up other brides who had ordered the same veil well in advance of their wedding to see if they could give me one of their veils and order them a new one and(3) offered to re-bead the sample veil so that it would be wearable. I really appreciated all of the options. I can’t say enough about them. They saved the day:-). Definitely give them a try, and definitely ask for Effie as your seamstress!

I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anybody. As a bridesmaid, I was measured in incorrectly and ended up receiving a dress several sizes too big. The staff was unhelpful and unresponsive about the issue. Other bridesmaids in the party had similar measurement issues. In addition, they tried to charge my sister twice for her dress and gave another bridesmaid the wrong swatch to dye her shoes with.
