Pizza Burg

I called at 7:30pm on a Friday night and asked for delivery after seeing they were open until 10pm on Google. The woman told me that wasn’t going to work since they close at 8pm… She assured me the pizza was that good she could close that early. The first red flag. Simple arrogance. I agreed to pick the pizza up since the good reviews and good word of mouth. For the record I asked for the pizza to be cooked extra well done. I picked the pizza up and came home to a pizza that was most certainly not even close to well done. Veggies were still semi raw, the mushrooms were out of a can, the meat was Oscar Meyer ham at best, and like I said was not cooked to order. When I picked up the pizza she tried to make good on the hour misunderstanding by giving me a free two liter of soda, but free soda will far from make up from this epic disappointment of a pizza I received. For the arrogance she displayed about how great her pizza is, without any national or even regional awards to back the claim up the pizza ended up being no better than their local competitors. Never again.

Very good pizza. But the have crappy hours and are never open when they are supposed to be. Website shows open until 8 tonight and we tried calling at 7:21 only to get the answering machine. This happens all the time.

This is an excellent place for pizza. They do a thin crust with piles and piles of toppings. They even have a drive through pick-​up.
Very fairly priced, and always tastes great! We usually get an all the way, but I order here a couple times a month and I’ve never been disappointed.

Tucked away from other neighborhood pizza joints in the ‘burg, this place is a hidden treasure. With an absolutely adorable interior filled with local charms, it is perfect for a dinner out with friends or the family, serving up some of the best pizza in the county. Ingredients are plentiful and fresh, the sauce leaves you craving for more, and the dough is the perfect balance between thick and thin. The owners are super friendly, and while we are only in Centerburg infrequently, it’s definitely a place we will revisit. Highly recommend!
