1st Source Servall Appliance Parts

Went there yesterday to have lifetime part warrantied and while I was waited on by woman she advised me I needed serial # so I went outside to make call to get the number. I came back in 5 minutes later and a shorter older man was helping me now. He was very rude and unprofessional. I will never go back here again. He was so rude to me I told him to keep his part n now I’m just gonna go buy a different appliance. He should definitely not be helping the public

In theory, this place would be great, but the games they play with prices just ruin it all.
The basic problem is that they sell parts to the end user (you and me), but also to repair shops that mark up their prices on parts. So to protect their commercial repair shop customers, Servall jacks up the prices on parts they sell to the end user.
This is not a new practice, but still a big scam nonetheless.

watch out for this place. Major scammers.
Their online prices are significantly cheaper but they won’t let you pick it up in person for that price.
Also, not until after you’ve paid do they give a receipt showing they charged you about 25% extra for a «lifetime warranty».

This place sucks and you should seek all available alternatives before spending any money here.

Do not be intimidated by the solid white concrete façade of this place — which does not look ANYTHING like a store itself. That’s because the building also serves as corporate headquarters for the company itself.
When you drive to the parking lot though, there is a door that says «Parts» (and yes, they are open to the public). When you enter, it is pretty much the equivalent of an Auto Zone or an O’Reilly’s except that this one is for all heating and cooling related.
I have a washing machine that leaks and luckily they have a part on sale. Called it in, have them hold it, and when I went there, it was waiting for me at the counter. I was in and out of the place in less than 5 minutes flat. RARELY can you find that service anywhere. Hence the 5-​star rating.
I know that Servall caters to a select few that have their «handy man» in them but if you are ever stuck on a heating and/​or cooling part (sorry folks they do not serve LG appliances as I was wanting to change my LG refrigerator water filter and they don’t carry it), try and give them a call instead of running around all over the place looking for one. Chances are, they will have it. You can get it in no time flat and THEN eat at some 5-​star restaurants or shop at 5-​star rated shopping stores here on Unilocal!;-)
