People recommended this place to me like it was out of this world. It is a slightly higher quality grilled cheese sandwich for much more than it would cost you to replicate at home in 5 minutes. The family that runs this place us super nice and friendly. The food was good but not anything extraordinary.

I work in Greenwood Village and the highlight of my day is my lunch adventure. With so much to choose from in this area, there’s never a shortage of options. But lately, I’ve had just one thing on the mind, grilled cheese. So, with cheese on the brain, I began doing some research and came across Yo’Cheese and couldn’t wait to try it. I arrived there today around 1:03 and today is a Monday. I had a little trouble locating the place(not their fault) but managed easy enough. On my approach I noticed a well hidden hours of operation sign that indicates 11 – 4 for its Monday hours. I specifically looked for this as, despite it being the middle of the day, no one was around. Closed window, nada. I understand that there’s work to be done so I waited. By 1:30, no one so I left. I am normally very adamant about not reviewing a place before tasting their food but I will not be back primarily because I believe that hard work should be rewarded and it doesn’t seem like anyone associated with this establishment cares for any work let alone the hard kind. And as someone who works 50 hours a week, every week, I have zero time for an establishment that’s already only open for 5 hours a day that can’t be bothered to be open for the full 5 hours. If I would have liked the food, they would have probably gotten a once a week visit out of me(until it got old. They always do…) but, as it stands, I will never be back nor will I recommend a visit to any of the number of colleagues that stop by my office for lunch recommendations on a daily basis. Wish them the best but no dollars from me will be proffered. Shame… Damn shame…

Every time I’ve walked by the stand, I’ve hoped they’d be open so I could try one of their sandwiches. I mean, who doesn’t love a grilled cheese sandwich? They are never open. There are no posted hours of operation. We were out for Black Friday today and wanted a snack. Decided to swing by, but again, they weren’t open. What gives?

Tried the grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich today. Big mistake! The sandwich didn’t have any jelly and the peanut butter looked grey and was barley there. The order took forever to get, being I work in the mall area I don’t have a lot of time so thought this was a quick option, wrong. The price was high for what we got, the sandwich was hot that’s about all I can say positive about the sandwich.

Excellent grilled cheese and tomato soup in one of South Denver’s nicest areas. Can’t go wrong.

As a concept, Yo’ Cheese gets an A+. Who doesn’t like grilled cheese, especially grilled cheese made-to-order outside in a pretty area on a sunny day? I had the Stella on Saturday, which is grilled cheese on sourdough with chopped up tomatoes. They have grilled cheese execution down to a science– the cheese was melted enough without burning the bread, and chopping the tomatoes up meant you got tomatoes in every bite instead of one piece that slides out immediately. Other sandwich options including a grilled cheese with bacon and a grilled cheese with both tomato and bacon. Sandwiches coming with a bag of chips and a pickle. I’d give more stars, except for a few things: price seems a little steep, at $ 4-$ 7 depending on fillings, and they could use some variety in cheese and bread selections. I enjoyed the sourdough and their sharp cheddar, mild cheddar and American combination was admittedly yummy, but I did realize I was paying $ 5 for a sandwich I could make at home for about $ 1. On the other hand, the girl working was friendly and a great sandwich maker, and I had a really good lunch in a convenient location for not that much money. Three stars seems about right, but it really is an «A-OK» three stars. I’m sure I’ll be a repeat customer.

Super tasty grilled cheese and awesome staff. Our kids loved it too. Perfect stop for a quick bite.
Great grilled cheese! There’s a special grilled cheese of the day– awesome. Sourdough bread is delish. I was not a huge fan of the tomato soup-too heavy and sauce-like for me. This is not a sit down place, but you can take your food and walk around South Glenn or sit on the tables outside. Worth checking out!

I have revisited since my last review. The prices have been lowered a bit. Confirmed, you do get a back of chips and a pickle with your sandwich. They also added weekly specials for variety. The week I revisited they had turkey and havarti, which my friend said was good. I’m still holding out for the velveeta!

I had the special: warm melted Havarti along with smoked peppered turkey on a couple of nice grilled slices of bread. Served along with a pickle, chips, and a lollipop, it made for an economical meal that is darned tasty and satisfying. Next time, some soup to go along with a sandwich.

This place is cute and serves good grilled cheese. It is just like a stand in the middle of the outdoor mall but it has outdoor seating and it was a gorgeous day this past weekend so it was nice to sit and eat outside. Anyway I had a grilled cheese with bacon and hubby had one with tomato and they were both above average grilled cheese.(Better than I make, but not as good as hubby’s of course) Anyway the owner is really nice here and named the 4 sammies after each of his 4 kids. So cute.

We popped over here for lunch. It’s basically a food stand in the middle of an outdoor mall in centennial off of arapahoe road. We were at the mall anyways, so we decided to give it a try. I’m glad that we did because they make a pretty tasty grilled cheese. We tried one with tomato and one with bacon. Both were good. Believe it or not, I think I slightly preferred the tomato one. It’s a grilled cheese stand so don’t expect anything overly fancy. If you are looking for a nice quick Sammy while you shop, this is a good option. Owner is nice.

Nothing fancy, just really good grilled cheese and tomato soup. Comfort food ready to go! Price was good, and I am in a happy cheese coma. I would check it out if you are in the neighborhood.
