I stopped by here for a quick, cheap takeout lunch after a previous reviewer raved about the Pad Thai lunch special. The meal was huge for a little over $ 8. It came with what was called a spring roll but it was definitely more of an egg roll — It was fried and filled with cabbage, whereas spring rolls typically have translucent wrappers and are filled with rice noodles. The size was unfortunately the meal’s most redeemable quality. The noodles were terribly bland. I’m not sure if the sauce was just not very flavorful or if there was just way too little sauce to noodle ratio. There was also very little shrimp and chicken compared to the large amount of noodles. I’m glad that I asked for a side of peanut sauce for the spring roll, because mixing the peanut sauce into the Pad Thai was the only reason I continued eating it. I was excited for a flavorful Pad Thai, but this one left me underwhelmed and unsatisfied.

Great food and great, friendly service. My wife had a couple of sushi rolls and I had a Thai curry. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. They also have a pineapple w/plum powder dessert which is great.

Ate here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great; very friendly and attentive host and servers as well as quick delivery of drinks and apps. I ordered the sesame chicken — I have very high standards for sesame chicken — and Wild Basil’s was great! Even my two picky kids happily ate it. Would definitely order it again. I also had two«Malibu Sunset» cocktails that were delicious and strong. I would recommend this restaurant and will return in the future.

I have ordered from this place several times and it has always been pretty good. This time, however, it was awful! The egg drop soup was the consistency of water and tasted like it too. No flavor whatsoever, just water. The Mongolian beef is one of my favorite dishes there and the beef had so much pepper that was all I could taste. The Chicken Lo Mein also had a different flavor which reminded me of a used bandaid. The only item that tasted good and like normal was the cheese wontons. Clearly, they have changed their recipes or they have a chef that sucks. Either way, the food was a huge disappointment! I called the restaurant to let them know and ask for a refund. The girl was obviously young and didn’t know customer service. She did offer me a credit for next time although that doesn’t make me happy as I had to throw everything away and figure out something else for dinner! If I didn’t have a credit there, I would never go back. I am updating my review and giving three stars. The chef from the restaurant called me back and apologized for the food. He indicated that they did forget some important ingredients in the soup and after he tasted it himself, yes it was bad. He is refunding my entire order and was very apologetic. I will try them again as maybe they were just having on off day.

I have no idea why people are so happy with this place. It’s kind of gross. I’ve had problems with food having freshness or quality or good flavor. Can’t comment on service since we have always gotten delivery as they’re one of the few close by options. The spring rolls are not desirable to me at all. They are mostly stringy tough cabbage filled and have no rice noodles like more authentic Thai spring rolls usually do. My bf likes to order the peanut chicken curry noodle dish which has an «okay» peanut sauce in some bloated soba noodles which I find gross. I think they have some of the WORST Drunken Noodles I’ve ever had: very weak flavored sauce, not«fresh noodles», minimal ingredients added– arrived with no egg, no tomato, no basil and basically no flavor. On a different visit I ordered the Pad Thai because of the strong reviews here. Mistake. It was not really bad or anything but I wouldn’t have raved about it. I thought it had way too many bean sprouts. Maybe all the authentic Thai in Boston and San Francisco has spoiled me. Ordered Generals chicken here twice– once it was good, the second time and my last time ordering there it tasted like the meat was really old and stale and had a lot of chewy cartilage in the bites. I tossed most of the container because it was inedible. I sadly drive further from my house to visit Udom Thai when I want to get good quality and flavorful Thai food.

I have to rate this place five stars and no less. At first, my family and I were a bit skeptical to eat here because compared to their neighbor restaurants next door, they were quite empty. However, we are all very glad we did because this is our new go-to place for Asian food. The service was spectacular, some of the best we have had, and the food was delicious and fresh. The entire place is spotless(which matters to us, ALOT) and overall, great experience. My co-workers and I will order from them for work, and they are very quick, easy, and overall a great place to order from.

I give up. After eating there 3 times and trying a variety of menu selections, the only item that is good is the pad Thai. The service is good, the décor is spartan, and it is rarely crowded.

Ordered for delivery twice, both times didn’t get fortune cookies. The food is good, I just wish I got a fortune cookie.

Chicken Pad Thai lunch special for under $ 8?! Sign me up! I ordered the special for pickup and it was ready within 10 minutes. It came with a spring roll(delicious, you really can’t mess up a spring roll) and the pad thai was enough to get me through two meals. As always, it was better left over and I was a happy camper with both of my meals. I will definitely stop here for lunch again when I need some comfort in a bowl on the fly.

Wife and I flew into DIA and decided to pick up some Asian food on the drive home. Checking on Unilocal, we ordered from Wild Basil. Phone service was very helpful, courteous and professional. We ordered spicy soup, spring rolls, Peking duck and basil chicken with vegetables. Every dish was EXCELLENT! We have found our favorite Asian restaurant.

I don’t have high expectations when ordering a dish like General Tao’s chicken, but there’s was perfection! Probably the best I have ever had. The sushi rolls and springs rolls were too notch as well. I will be back!

This is a great late night splurge! The food took a little longer than they said but it was worth the wait! Super friendly nice and great wontons!

I can’t say I was wild about Wild Basil. I have a hard time knowing what to rate this place because the servers were friendly and polite, my take out order was ready for pick up really fast, the portions were good sized, but let’s talk about the food… yikes. I can’t say I’ve ever had green curry with potatoes and jalapeños before and now I know why. It was a confusing mix of flavors, sweet and spicy, not how I think green curry should taste. The chicken sauté was pretty good. Unfortunate, I wouldn’t go back.

The past few times I’ve been here I’ve tried a variety of their sushi and sashimi rolls which have all been great. Recently I did dinner take out and got the panang curry, pad tai and mixed vegetables. Everything was amazing and the wait wasn’t even 10 minutes. It’s about $ 10/person, but that’s not bad for the quality and quantity of the food; the service has always been great when I’ve dined-in.

Ordered online. Easy. Fast. Got the food before half hour. Delivered. Not the most authentic Thai. But still worth it. I would drive to udon Thai. But order this place again for sure. Ordered drunken noodle with tofu. Hot n sour soup. Seaweed salad.

Wild Basil has essentially been the go to Asian cuisine delivery place at work. They are very good about working with order requests and fast delivery. Usually about 30mins. The wontons are kind of funny, and the chicken is fried to perfection. Also recommend the fried pork potsticker.

Top choice for Thai. Service is superb. Friendly. Authentic chef owners. Clean. Now for the food. We’ve taken friends and family many times and have sampled several dishes. Nothing has disappointed. The tom yum is a favorite. Shrimp fried rice very spicy is delicious(preferred over Thai fried rice only bc I don’t care for certain ingredients in a rice dish). The pad Thai, noodle bowl, and house pan fried noodles and several other dishes are so good it’s hard to have one favorite. The sushi is fresh and delicious too. Great choices for those who haven“t ventured in to Thai yet.

Literally the best Thai food I have had. Panang curry is to die for. Great ambience… I am hooked.
