While I have only had shoes resoled in the distant past (always pleased with results), I needed to have 2 pairs of heavier cotton denim jeans shortened and ready for pick up in a couple of days. I had tried to hem these jeans myself with dismal results, it was obvious that a commercial sewing machine was required. The new hems looked like the original ones, perfect color match on thread with nice even stiches. I was very pleased with the results and the jeans were ready as promised. Excellent job!

I took my new shoes in to be stretched (only worn once), and they stretched them so much they broke. I paid for them before looking at them, but tried them on in the store, and realized they had sewn back together the top part of the shoe AND NEVER MENTIONED WHAT HAPPENED! I asked them what happened and they told me the leather was stretched too far, so I asked for my money back. They said no, sorry… but «if I wanted to go to the store and buy a charm to cover it up, they would apply it for free». They wouldn’t even refund me the $ 10 cost to stretch them! Even though I paid for 2 other shoe repairs at that same time. I have to admit they did a great job repairing the heels of my other two shoes… but if you are stretching shoes BEWARE. And make sure you look at them closely before paying for them.
