Cafeteria style BBQ with awesome selection of BBQ sauces! We got there right when it opened. All the sides had been under the heat lamps for quite some time. I strongly regret getting the mac n’ cheese! The meet was smoking and so were my beans. Ice machine ran out of ice but I was so exhausted already since I had been working in an office with no air conditioning that day I just didn’t have the energy to ask. I have been here a number of times. However, there is also Brothers BBQ down the road at 25 and Arapahoe that offer much better food quality. Service is great at both places but when you’re starting to pick apart the food, I’d drive the extra distance.

Just ok. I’ll still go on occasion because I enjoy BBQ, however it can be hit or miss. Best thing in my opinion is the ice cream.

Decent Bbq if you don’t know what good Bbq is. Most people have no clue what real, good BBQ is. I wanted to see what a Dickies BBQ tasted like in Colorado, it’s the exact same chain BBQ that they sell everywhere else. Lower points for the meat cutter not understanding me when I asked him to give me ribs off the small end. He continued to cut the first 3 ribs off the small end, push them aside and serve ribs from the middle to large end.

This place it’s always good I love the loaded baked potato… you could always get any BBQ meat that you want it comes by the quarter pound I had roasted turkey and the brisket the customer service is always good here

I lived in Dallas for 6 years. Oh Dickey’s, what happened to you? I had the same issue another poster mentioned about foods not being properly stored or at the right temperature, which is… Worrisome. I wasn’t terribly impressed with the service until I tried the HR location. We walked out of that one when they were out of almost everything. I do like the serve your own sides, I like a little of this and a little of that instead of just two sides. But it just isn’t the same old Dickey’s I remember.

There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, our first sign. The ribs tasted artificial and made one of us sick. The corn was soggy and tasteless, appears it had been sitting there for a while. The beef brisket was average. The bathroom sink had a bucket in it to catch the water. Will never go back there.

Had a turkey sandwich a lunch and it was horrible. Have had one before and it was pretty good. Today it had four small pieces of end scraps and was slimy. Assume because it was early it was left over reheatrd garbage from day before. The potato salad was bad and tasted like it was from a plastic bucket from the grocery store or worse. This place is definitely very inconsistent but today was the worst

Real American food in here. It’s very close to where I work. There’s this Mexican guy who takes care of the orders. Their pulled pork sandwich is highly recommended. But the problem is that they don’t put any veggies in their menu.

Food isn’t horrible, sides are buffet style, cold by the time you get to your table. Service was horrible to say the least, out of five employees, three were busy watching television, the others didn’t say one word to us. Restaurant is disgusting, filthy, sticky floors, trash everywhere. Putrid smell coming from restroom area, bathrooms were worse than a gas station. Avoid this location!

Ribs were good(mostly tender), pulled pork was tender(put the sweet bbq sauce on it for a little more flavor), smoked turkey is good. The meats were good but their sides could use some serious improvement. Cherry cobbler was tasteless, mac and cheese/Au gratin potatoes were bland, BBQ beans were just average. Next time I will just load up on the made to order fries. The free ice cream is just average. The meats might push them in between 3 and 4 stars. The ribs did improve from the last few time I’ve been there.

First visit to Dickey’s and I’m a fan! Great value, good food, generous portions, and kids eat free on Sundays(one per paid adult). Go to the counter, choose your meat choices, then dish your own side portions — with lots of tasty choices(I recommend the au gratin potatoes, but the peach cobbler was a little old when I was here). Once you pay for your meal and pick up your drink cup there are several self-serve toppings for your meal, such as: jalapeños, cheese, sour cream, bacon, butter, and more. You can choose between three barbecue sauces to add to your plate, and there is self-serve complimentary ice cream. I will definitely be back.

Ate at this location yesterday for lunch. Basically you feel like your in a middle school cafeteria. The horrible plates easily over shadow the dated and tacky interior. Just not a place I would eat again. Food was bland and I could not taste the rubs or the smoke. The potato casserole was bland as the beans and Mac and cheese. Most people may like Dicky’s, but overall I have higher standards and getting rid of the buffet style and improving the interior aesthetics would have made a huge difference in the overall experience.

My first time here and it won’t be my last. I was greeted with a friendly smile and I gave my order. It was the daily special which was Ribs with two sides for just $ 9.99 and they gave me a military discount. The ribs practically fell off the bone they were so moist and tasty. I put on the sweet BBQ sauce. I also ordered the cheesy potatoes and the jalapeño beans and both were tasty. I topped off my dinner with free ice cream. If your hungry bring your appetite. I have ate at BBQ places all over the U.S. and Dickies is top notch. Don’t take it from me though I suggest you give it a try.

Had a really outstanding catering experience here. Easy to place the order, ready on time and piping hot, very reasonable prices which included plasticware, plates, serving utensils and a tableclth and really delicious! Highly recommended!

Popped in here for a late lunch last Saturday. Parking was easy and there was no line waiting for us inside. I found the menu easy to read and liked the cafeteria-style ordering system. The gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly in our interactions. I went for the two meat plate(brisket and turkey) and chose the au gratin potatoes and potato salad. My husband had a one meat plate(hot links) and a beer and in total our bill was ~$ 25. Nice price! The food was quite delicious and meat was nice and tender. The brisket lacked a smoke ring but the bbq sauce went well with it. Free soft serve to end the meal was an extra bonus. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to return!

This is a self serve buffet line kind of operation with ok food, but they get you in and out fast for an average price for the quality. My favorite is the ribs plate, which is currently priced at $ 11.99. Sign up for the text message alerts and you get some great bargains. They have self-serv soft ice cream right next to the soda machine where they just happen to have root beer. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen if you ask me!

I waffled between 3 and 4 stars. Here’s the thing with Dickey’s, it’s fast and reasonably priced and they have a great selection of sides and mix ‘n match meats. But, the ribs are kind of the only really good BBQ meat they have. I’ve tried the brisket both ways, pulled pork, smoked sausage and hot link. All are just average except the ribs, they’re pretty good– hubby agrees. One thing I do love about Dickey’s is that they will cook your fried okra or waffle fries to order, no soggy hot-well fried food! They give generous portions and let you ladle some of your own sides. Potato salad was disappointing, pea salad was great– hubby agrees. This place is a good value for BBQ by comparison to most places around Denver.

I work for a medical transport company and flew to Denver for a few hours for work. Luckily, we were able to stop somewhere close to the airport for a bite to eat. One of the pilots had been to Dickeys and recommended it. They have specials every day, which is sweet. On this particular day(Tuesday), there was a $ 9.99 special for ribs with 2 sides. Sounded good and that’s what I ordered. The ribs were good. They were a bit inconsistent. Some of the ribs were soft and tender, while others had crispy edges… but man, they were tasty. The BBQ sauce was good. I got the green beans and baked mashed potatoes. GOODCHOICES. They also had good tea and soft serve available for desert. Overall. it was a good meal. We didn’t realize we had walked in at closing time. The staff was super friendly and didn’t let us know until an hour later that they were getting ready to close.

First of all– yay drive thru! That was a really nice surprise when I ventured over here to give it a try. I was skeptical about the ability to have BBQ via drive thru, but it worked ok. I wouldn’t suggest trying to eat it in your car while driving, but a great and quick option when you’re feeling lazy and planning to take your food back to the office. I ordered their 2 meat meal that includes 2 sides and a piece of bread. Ok, the bread was literally a toasted slice of white bread, meh. I’m more of a cornbread kind of girl. Then I tried their pulled pork and polish sausage. The pulled pork was decent, but pretty bland. And the polish sausage was«squishier» than what I’d prefer– not sure how else to describe it, but the meat was soft inside the casing. The BBQ sauce provided was just given to me; it did not appear that you get a choice. It was ok. For my sides, I had the fried okra and coleslaw. The coleslaw was terrible– seriously the deli at King Soopers puts out better tasting coleslaw. It was all mayo, no other flavors– bland and icky, though I will say it tasted fresh. I took one bite and decided not to bother with any more. But, the fried okra was TASTY! Almost borderline craveable! They were super fresh, the batter was perfectly seasoned and the right thickness/crunchiness to compliment the fresh okra inside. Perfect balance of salty and crunchy with those addicting little okra seeds. I might return when I’m craving something fried and delicious, just to order the fried okra again! All in all, there are better BBQ places nearby that I will likely choose over Dickey’s. But I will return should I find myself *needing* fried okra or drive thru BBQ. It’s edible, you won’t hate it, but it’s hard to get excited about it.

I come here occasionally for lunch because I feel it’s a healthier alternative to other restaurants that are near my work. I always order the same thing, the chicken breast plate with the cucumber salad on the side, it’s a good low carb option as long as you use minimal sauce. A few times I have dined in and eaten the ice cream there, unfortunately it’s just not the great soft serve ice cream you would expect, it’s VERY watery. I would rate this higher but feel the prices are a little steep for the amount of food that you get. The chicken plate I ordered today was over $ 10, for a chicken breast and cucumbers I just can’t seem to justify going back… at least not on any other day than Wednesday when it’s the daily special for $ 7.99
