Great service, clean glory holes. I haven’t had such a good Cactus Martini since I visited Roy, New Mexico!

Great ambience. Great location. Fantastic fries. Amazing crab cakes. Captains platter is good but not a lot of fish/​seafood on top of a giant pile of fries. Ask for extra aioli sauce it is wonderful!
Bring a sharpie to leave your mark!

Am here by lake view is great but it is tues and they just opened 2 hours ago an are out of food. Yes out of food. They are turning people away. Their special is tuna and they are out of it. So dont come here on a tues or wed wow

Great atmosphere for drinking… live music and overlooking the lake. Food was bad. I ordered fish tacos and they were bad… some dry cabbage thrown on some taco shells. My wife ordered the captains platter… predominately fried … she’s alergic to old seafood and her lips are tingling due to less than fresh seafood. It was bad. Even the orange for the blue moon was dried up– $ 40 bucks for below sub par food. Drink here but don’t eat here. Food was bad.. did I mention the food was bad?

Ordered a chsbrgr medium. Got a briquet. I’ve never had a good food experience at the place. I don’t recommend this place for food anyway.

Suffice it to say the view doesn’t even come close to making up for the lack of quality and service. It’s a shame a place on the lake is run so poorly. We will not be back… ever! Pass it up!!!

Not the best on food and service but the view makes up for it good place to grab a beer on a sat afternoon… big menu… just prepared a little shaky …

The place has a new name. Owner waited on us and checked to see if anything was needed. Had the jerk chicken, really good. Other had cat fish that was good also.

First thing that came to mind when we left was «discussing». 1. The have a cat that lives on the second floor balcony. Lays on top of tables. The litter box was out in open half full… 2. Bathroom were the worst I have seen in a long time. The men’s was in the basement which your feet where sticking to the floor a you went down the stairs. 3. The kitchen was very bad, stuff everywhere on the floors. Not sure how they past the health inspector. I didn’t eat there because I was scared to. Had some friends that ate while we were there and they had some good and some bad. The only good thing about this place is the view.

Stopped en route to Cincinnati and loved the place. It was early evening on a summer Friday so the place was packed. But service was very good and the view was beautiful. Make no mistake this place is a bar but it’s a good one!
We enjoyed the portabella fingers to start and they were outstanding. Catfish was very good and had the southern style corn meal breading.
We will be back for sure.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich with the sauce on the side. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. I had french fries instead of potato chips.
If I was in the area I would definitely come back. The portion size on the crab cake is very small but exactly what I was looking for. If your hungry order two or order something else.

Had to redo my first review. It appears that the Dockside Grill has been aquired by another owner since we went there. We arrived at 5:50 pm and seated ourselves outside to enjoy the view. At 5:55 pm another couple sat down next to us. At 6:00 the waitress came out and walked directly up to them and started a conversation, it appears they were regulars. She then took their drink order and left. At 6:05 pm she came back without their drinks and took their food order and left. At 6:10 pm she came over to our table and asked what we wanted to drink. I said we would like to order our drinks and our dinner. She looked annoyed, but took out her pad. My wife ordered a breaded tenderloin and was promptly told that they were out of them. At that time I figured enough was enough and I politely told our waitress that we would be dining elsewhere. She looked at us like a deer in the headlights as we walked to our car and left. We then drove to Greenville and found a great Italian restaurant called D’Alessios. It is across from the theater in the back of The Coffee Pot Coffee Shop. As far as the Dockside Grill I cannot any longer say it is a great place to eat. I wish I could I really enjoyed the experience under the old owner. To the two individuals who thought this review was funny. I guess you would not know a good restaurant if it ran up and bit you. And if you return to the Dockside Grill then you deserve exactly what you get.

My family stopped in for dinner & should have been alarmed when it took our waitress over 5 minutes to come for our drink order. I ordered the loaded nachos which were TERRIBLE! The meat tasted like a cross between dog food treats & shredded beef jerky. And the salsa/​pico de gallo that the waitress said was delicious… LIES! The rest of my family ordered fish & fries… if you love the taste of grease than this is the place to go.

OK food was great… captain platter yummy… black bean soup… can’t wait until may to try crawfish corn chowder. Only thing was Dick didn’t dance for us!

Love this place! Awesome atmosphere. Key west-​ish feel. This place is like a divey locals bar from Southern Florida dropped into Celina. Cheap drinks, delicious food, lot of seafood options, a Midwesterners beach oasis.
