The Cedaredge Library shares a parking lot with the Howard Johnson’s. This Grand Mesa library looks like a small post office and was not as busy as other small libraries I have visited. However, it was the first week of school and I imagine a quiet time as parents were busy getting kids ready for classes, it was still harvest and most of the farmers were busy getting crops in, and kids did not need to do research yet as they were busy settling into classes and meeting friends. However, when needed, the Cedaredge Library is there to offer all the library services needed by the community with a friendly staff and the room to learn as they also offer classes providing small-group instruction in the following areas: English as a Second Language(ESL); Literacy Skills; GED and Pre-GED; Basic Computers; and Job Skills/Life Skills.
