Big John’s Lumber

I went to a large box hardware store to buy six padlocks for a project I was doing. The padlocks needed to be keyed the same. Once I purchased the six padlocks I realized that I needed a seventh. Upon going back to the same store I was informed that unless I could find the same coded lock, I was out of luck. I looked at three different hardware stores attempting to find a lock that matched and at each I was told a different story on how to solve my problem. After being extremely frustrated and ready to buy another seven locks I decided to try Big John’s Lumber in Cedaredge, Colorado. I went in and the staff was extremely helpful. I spoke to the assistant manager of the store and explained my problem. He informed me that for the same price as the original lock, he could get me another lock and rekey it to match the original. He rekeyed it the next week the second it came off of the shipment truck, and I received it that same day. The staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help me solve my problem.

This hardware store has it all! My family has been using Big John’s in Cedaredge for years now for two reasons: 1) knowledgeable, friendly staff; and 2) they have always had great variety and selection at very reasonable prices.
We have depended on Big John’s for paint, electrical, plumbing, patio furniture, propane, home and auto cleaning supplies. The store’s holiday supplies are second to none too!
