An unexpected gem in the Cedar Creek Settlement! The Mister and I generally wander around Cedarburg once per year or so and either this store is newer to the Settlement or we’ve missed it on past trips. They’re on the second floor, next to the Alpine Gift Haus — the space is small but we founds lots to love inside. There’s not really furniture or high-end stuff, but there are lots of collectables — they’re heavy on beer stuff(especially steins), old kitchen implements, older toys and wonderful vintage kitsch. Obviously you have to love that kind of stuff or this store won’t be your jam. We scored big with a sweet pewter topped«Opa» stein(a future gift for a friend), an awesome nutcracker set emblazoned with«Wisconsin Dells» on the bowl and a Furstenburg 0.5L glass. The last one is avidly collected by the Mister and at $ 4.50 was quite the steal. In general the prices here were very reasonable and in some cases, downright cheap. Our nutcracker set was $ 12 and the Opa stein(good quality, great shape) was just $ 7. If youre looking for a set of awesome Spice Girl keychains they have them. Theyve also got a huge number of older beer trays and a great old train set. The guys who run this place were really friendly too. In the sea of spangly old-lady clothes, fudgeries and sticky-sweet wine purveyors that is today’s Cedarburg, this little shop has great stuff at very reasonable prices.
