Sudo Lawn Care

I am very sad to write this today. I think this is probably the saddest thing I’ve had to do in a long time.
Scott has been off his mark this year. I had him cut my bushes down and he left the yard clippings in the driveway. He didn’t come to get it for a month and I had to start chucking it into the bins one at a time to keep my van from getting punctured.
That was the last time I saw him on August 5.
From that moment on he hasn’t come. I’ve tried calling, texting and emailing, and he no longer responds.
I’ve been a very loyal customer and I never knew what the cause was, but he’s not what he used to be and now I need to find someone new. I wouldn’t recommend him. It’s such a shame too because he used to be amazing.

When you hire someone to do a job, you need to be able to relax and rely on them to show up when they say they are going to. Unless you are scheduled with them you have to repeatedly «nag» them to come. Scott seems disorganized and unreliable when it comes to anything beyond regularly scheduled mowing. We had several jobs to be done by a certain time. It took two months of nagging to get it done. Scott and his crew is personable but it doesn’t make up for his unreliability. I wish I could give a more positive review but I really can’t.

Damaged a sprinkler valve cover (no big deal, it happens) and instead of replacing it decided to steal my neighbor’s (who was watching). Had the gall to claim that he though it was from our yard (after just having mowed our lawn — you’d think he’d know where the edges of the yard are). When we confronted him he decided to fire us for the trouble. It was the owner, Scott, that did all of this. Hope this bad review was worth the $ 2 valve cover. I seriously question the his judgement and integrity.

Seems to be too busy and not enough workers to keep up with the demand. Slow to unresponsive customer care. There is no shortage of lawn care companies so I am taking my business to someone who cares about customers and their time.

Scott has been doing a great job with our lawn for about a year now.
It is a great feeling to come home to a clean cut lawn with good edging. There were a few times when the lawn was growing like crazy and I had to ask Scott to come early and he was able to work me in for next day, so kudos sir, kudos!
Definitely recommend Sudo to anyone in the CP area.

I got Scott (Sudo) to come out and dow a heavy mow of my back yard.
I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable Scott’s work was. He had to go over my enire back yard with a weed wacker THEN mow the same space. Then, instead of just edging my front yard, he mowed, trimmed and edged it.
It all came in within his very economical estimate of the original work. In other words, he did about 50% more work than expected and didn’t try to jack the estimate.
I was very happy to give him a nice tip.
Oh, Scott is also very personable and professional. And his puppy is really cute.

We love Sudo and have used them for almost 2 years! The fact that they care for the lawns of disabled veterans is amazing. I believe they try to keep at least 10% of their business caring for disabled veterans lawns. Having a few friends that were disabled in the past decade in the Middle East, it’s one of the main reasons we decided to use Sudo. We like supporting their great cause and they keep our lawn in tip top shape. This past Summer was harsh and they did not require us to continue service when it wasn’t needed. We send them a quick email letting them know that we will contact them when we need service and they are there when we need them. We will continue to use them for the foreseeable future. I recommend them to anyone that needs their grass cut or any other lawn care. A friend of ours used them to trim her trees and bushes and she loved their work too. Did I mention their prices are great and completely affordable? Thanks Sudo and Scott!
