Shooters Billiards & Sports Bar

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I just moved here, so we were checking out local places. So excited to play some pool, too! Shooters is the place, right?! We walk in and my husband trips over the carpet going in. The bouncer tells him he’s to drunk to come in. Uh… What? I tell him he’s not drunk, and he tripped over a safety hazard at the front door (I even pointed it out). Then he continues to tell him, «well you have red eyes». Oh really? My husband has been experiencing very bad «cedar fever» so for him to assume that he was wasted was just beyond me. We were just trying to have a drink and play some pool. The bouncer was SO RUDE HE TOLD ME TO GO F MYSELF!!! Are you serious?! I was beyond myself. I’ve never experienced something like this before. I will NEVER try and come back here, and I will tell everyone I know not to come here. We were THAT offended. We will spend our money somewhere else.

I walked in with my wife, tripped over the carpet, and the bouncer told me I was too drunk to come in. Security is on a high horse. He literally told my wife she can go fuck herself when we asked for why we can’t come in. I’ve never experienced something like this before. Will not go back.
Cedar fever makes your eyes red which can be misconstrued.

Fun place to come and have a drink. Almost always decently busy but Roger and Misty are always awesome and your drink never sits empty. Can’t ask for much more.

Best bar ever! Free pool on Mondays, in house open pool tournament on Tuesdays, karaōke on Wednesday, Ladies night and DJ on Thursday, Karaōke on Friday, live music and NCAA football on Saturday, 1.50 burgers and dogs and NFL ticket on Sundays! Best bartenders and servers in the area, daily drink specials. Love this place it’s like our second home

Staff is always friendly, Marcela is an awesome bartender. They usually always have drink specials, full bar and plenty on tap. Plenty of pool tables and game stations. Outside seating area and Touch Tunes at this location.

Stopped in here for a quick drink. Place was fairly busy and had some nice music playing. Bartender was attentive and did a great job pouring.
Next time I visit i’ll have to try out the pool tables…

I came here last night with my cousin and I feel the bathrooms could be clearer, there was this brown stuff on the soap dispenser. The bartenders seem rude. The people were cool though other then that it was fun.

Great place if you’re a smoker. Not so much if you aren’t. Good prices, great service and plenty of pool tables.

Great place to stop in grab a few cold ones and watch some sports. This is a smoking bar and as such it retains the flavor and class of great entertainment venue. Whether you want to shoot pool or yell at the bartenders from the Golden Tee, play some alternative music, a five liner or two this place has it all. Live music on weekends just like a good olé Austin stop. Check it out I highly recommend it! Best day bartenders Tracy and Trish, Misty and Mo! Roger ain’t to bad either!

Shadiest place. Came with a group of friends first of all the blonde behind the bar wouldnt serve us she was too busy hitting on the guys at the bar. Than when we finally got settled and got our balls for pool we asked how much it was she said 5.00. So we played for a hour. Returned the balls and hung out near another table with people we were with. At the end of the night we were charged 30.00 for pool, but our friends we were with only got charged 5.00. What because we are girls we get charged 30 and the men get charged 5.00? So I asked her why and she says I dont know. I ask to speak to manager she said there wasnt one. For my first and last time there it was shitty. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to fast eddies.
And no it is a blonde bartender that was there at night.

The service was friendly and courteous. Free pool available all day on monday is great. Nice tvs to watch football on. The egg rolls were delicious.

Horrible service. I ordered 3 waters and when I came to order a drink I was denied because people in my group had ordered various drinks. Just because the group I’m with is drinking more does not mean I need to be neglected. Seriously? What the hell? Plus the fact that I was spoke to very rudely and told «do you think I’m fucking stupid I know you are with that group?» Well yes I’m with them but the drinks are for me and all I’ve ordered from you is water.
This occurred two nights ago. I’m never going back and have told all my coworkers never to go there because that isn’t how you speak to a lady.

I have a lot of fun coming up paying pool just relaxing after a long day at work. All of the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great place to hang out but they have smoking and for me that is a HUGE minus because I believe that such places should keep the environment clean and focused on the pool players.

This place is always entertaining, with fair drink prices and great service from the wait staff and bartenders! The waitresses here are sexy and fun! They have excellent bands here on many nights and there are plenty of pool tables to hop on. Seems to always be some «party» folks in the place! With that said there are a few major negatives! Number one: Horrible ventilation makes this place a smoke filled death chamber on crowded nights as smoking is allowed inside. Try to keep from getting burned on the dance floor! Number two: The dance floor and stage. Horrible location! Its right near the entry and literally everyone packs into that area making movement difficult. It can become a challenge to reach the bar, bathroom, or your wife. Number three: The food! Why even call it food! UGH!!! They could not do worse! Their other location is much nicer IMO. With that being said, I still will come back here on occasion when the place is rocking with some of their bands, when I feel the need to inhale cigar/​cig smoke, and when I’m in the mood to break a few cue balls!

You can smoke in this bar which just makes the bar feel really dirty when you walk in it.

I’ve been coming to shooters for about 4 years now and I’ve never been disappointed. Free wifi, great Tito’s Martinis, I can smoke my cigar, awesome service… What more can you ask for!!!
My personal favorites are the day crew. Good looking bartenders, Trisha and Tracy, who can actually pour a excellent drink. A+++
Great music too. Always a good volume so you can hear the people your with. Awesome touch tunes jukebox.

Aside from the smoke haters, if you live in Leander, you appreciate this bar. Yes, smoking is allowed, but unless its super packed, you won’t notice the smoke.
I like the staff, sportsbar and billiard environment, drink prices are ok, especially on tequila! They have DJ nights, poker nights, live band nights, and karaōke nights, so plenty of entertainment. Shot out to my man Leo, always greets a regular, much love.
(And for the Golden Tee lovers, got a sweet setup and close to the jams).

Want to become a lung cancer patient? Check out this smoky spot in northern Cedar Park. After a few overpriced drinks I suppose I was becoming more comfortable with the fact I was inhaling toxic chemicals constantly.
The worst part about my visit was the food… I ordered chicken tenders and fries… the fries were fine but the chicken was TERRIBLY UNDERCOOKED… it was still COLD! The waitress who I showed it to gagged and suggested I show the bartender… he must have been some kind of manager with the way he carried himself (he was taller with dark features)… he told me «what do you expect, its bar food» ARE YOU SERIOUS???
I told him I expected to not be served raw meat ESPECIALLY RAW CHICKEN. I asked for a refund and he quickly responded that he is not going to give me a refund but could offer me something else in the same amount. I was pissed at this point but it was also extremely busy. I settled for more fries and shots for all of my friends… I will never order food from this place ever again. Bar food should still be edible… not raw. REDIC!
