Orr Wrecker & Towing Service Inc

The last couple of times my car wouldn’t start, I called my mechanic and he sends Orr over to tow me in. They call me to confirm my address and give me an approximate ETA. They are always within 15 minutes of their ETA time. The driver/​owner is the same man each time. He looks big and gruff but is such a teddy bear.
Their rates are reasonable and they take care of your car. The bonus is, I get to ride in a big truck so I can look down at the other cars.

Original estimate was for an hour for dispatch, but he came in 10 minutes. Very helpful and friendly, as well as sympathetic to my situation. Grateful for a reliable service like this where I was comfortable enough to ride with the driver to the dealership. Thank you!

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this company, Nicole and Jim. I live in Point Venture which is about 10 min past Lago Vista. I got a skid loader stuck in the back of my property in some mud. When I started calling around to towing companies, most either weren’t interested, didn’t answer or quoted me a price that was outrageous. Nichole gave me a fair quote and Jim showed up the next day on time and had me out in 10 min.
If you ever get stuck on the beach or in mud these are they guys you want to call. Jim’s truck has a heavy duty wench and plenty of extensions to reach over 150′.
All of my family’s towing needs are going here from now on

I have worked for this company for 3 years or more and they don’t care about the drivers safety at all. They have used duck tape to repair the light bars the trucks leak more oil then anything I’ve driven and I’ve driven everything in the military. They refuse to five us the right straps or chains to do the job not only right but safely. The owner Carol Orr does not care about her employes she was told about a lot of thing that where wrong with her trucks and we where told she didn’t have the money to fix them. We had a driver that the steering wheel lock up and he crashed the truck. I was made to over load the truck so much I blow out two rear tires at once. If I had to use a tow company I would use either Leander towing the owner is a driver and knows how to take care of people.

My car stalled out behind Cedar Park Hospital and i needed a tow fairly quickly. Called them and they promptly sent someone out (I think his name was wolf?). He was very friendly and helpful and towed us to a near by firestone. No complaints at all, the price quoted on the phone was the price he asked for when the job was done. Will use again if I have any other issues with my car!

Damon (my tow driver) responded quickly, and was so nice. He was called out to tow my car but said he could actually change my tire (Pop-​A-​Lock, sent by my insurance company, driver called me to say he’d be there in 10 minutes and 15 minutes later I got a call that they were not coming at all because they considered my location too dangerous to stop… but not to dangerous to leave me and my son stranded, ironically). Anyhow, the Cedar Park Police (officer Gowen, also AWESOME!) watched over us, called Orr, and waited until we were safely back on the road. My driver allowed me to follow him to Costco (where I was getting the tire replaced) so I could pay him there because it was just before 8p and I had to get the car there by about 8p in order to get it worked on. I have never written a negative review but feel compelled because of the poor service my 72 year old mom just received. She called after her car broke down in the HEB parking lot. On August 8^th – it is over 100 degrees. She was told that someone was on the way when she called at 3:10 pm. When the driver had not arrived by 4 pm, she called and they said that the driver had stopped by an accident and that he would be on the way soon. He did finally arrive but already had a car on his tow truck. He attempted to start the car but couldn’t. He then handed my mom a bill for $ 65 and asked her to pay, which she did. When she asked if someone would be on the way to tow the car, he said that they probably wouldn’t because they were too booked up. At the time, he was blocking four cars in the lot. When I noticed someone in the car waiting for him to move, I asked if he would move forward to allow one of the vehicles to leave. He didn’t want to move until he was paid, so I asked him to at least pull forward so that the patient woman could leave. We paid the $ 65 and promptly called his office to see if they would be sending someone else. I explained that my mother had been waiting for an hour an a half for help (it was now 4:50 pm). The operator argued that it had only been 45 minutes (I’m not sure how she calculated her clock, but it had been over an hour an a half since my mom had called them). She then said that they had no one else who could tow the car, then suggested that I had been rude to her driver (the only conversation I had with him was to please move forward). She then said that they no longer want to do business with us. Ironically, when my mom called her insurance company to send another tow company, they called Orr’s. The same woman called and argued all over again with my mom and then actually hung up on her. This was possibly the worst customer service we have ever received.

Courteous & caring. My car over heated on the toll road and I called Orr wrecker because it had the best Unilocal rating. I was upset and gave them a less than clear description of my location. After a quick call to clarify my location, Mrs. Orr called to check on me and the wrecker arrived shortly after to take my car and I to it’s destination.
They were very helpful and the cost was less than I had expected.

Best experience I ever had with a towing company (& I’ve had some spectacularly craptacular experiences with tow companies). They arrived quickly, the driver was VERY helpful & courteous and gave me advice about the problem with my vehicle and the price was very fair. I highly recommend these guys.

Timely, fantastic service. We’d been burned by AAA’s usual tow service and insisted they use a different company, and were very happy we did. The driver arrived when he promised, broguht a flatbed instead of a tow truck, was courteous and charged less than the AAA rate for the extra mileage. Because it was dark and late, he insisted on waiting for me to fill out the after hours forms and left only after I pulled out of the dealership. Highly, highly recommended
