The fashion Gods and the Hot Topic main office must have heard your grumbles because things have changed so much in this store. FINALLY. The past two times I’ve been I’ve had excellent customer service, no dippy sales people, no attitudes, no pressure sales, none of that stuff. It has been a fast, easy experience each time. ALSO, I did not even have to ask if they could call another store for a pair of shoes I wanted if they turned out to not be in stock. The sales lady just automatically offered it. THANKGOD. So yeah, this is definitely a viable Torrid, and yes, they do carry their edgier stuff. PS, the sales area is actually organized. I know. Clutch your pearls. My only complaint is that there aren’t size markers so you have to just note the pattern. Thankfully I am still scarred by the memories of planogramming in the retail world that I caught on immediately.

Left on Friday thinking I’d had a great experience, only to get home and discover all kinds of discounts missing from my receipt. Headed back on Saturday, only to be told that if I wanted my receipt adjusted to reflect the discounts, the manager would remove a coupon the employee used for me, because you can’t use more than one coupon(I didn’t. The employee grabbed and applied both coupons at the register, I never had them in my hands, yet the manager refused to honor them.) A complete waste of time, and awful customer service on the manager’s part. I’ll be returning my purchases.
