Stopped there this afternoon and asked to sit outside. The host had to «clean» the table. We were seated and it was still wet, dirty and sticky. All of the other tables were covered with dirty dishes. After several of the waitresses walked passed our table, a male server asked if we had been waited on and took our order. One of the female food runners/waitress came out and dropped/threw our appetizer on the table and walked off. No offer of plates or silverware or do you need anything. The outside waitresses were horrible — no sense of customer service what so ever. Rude, lazy and inconsiderate. The management at this location has run it into the ground. I get better service at Long John Silvers. This location has consistently bad service and I do not understand why they are not closed down.

What’s happened to Joe’s Crab Shack? Mediocre service, even less mediocre food and SOOOO overpriced. It seems they’ve changed their menu, and they have less to offer. Even the crab cake was tasteless and inedible. How does a place witht the word crab in their name mess up a crab cake? And the worst part… nearly $ 100 for dinner for two with no alcohol. We used to love it here, but we will not be back.

This place is terrible, we have eaten there over the last few years and in the last couple it’s service and food has really gone down hill. Took over an 1 ½ hours to get out food, no refills on drinks, margaritas were watery. When we did get our food, 3 out 7 plates were wrong. The steam pots were missing potatoes and corn. Told the waitress, who looked overworked, she brought out what was missing in a cold bowl unseasoned. The bill was $ 178 dollars. Needless to say we will never go again. Used to be great but too loud, too busy, inexperienced wait staff and just terrible food.

If I could give it no stars I would. I’m a server myself and this place was awful. Tables were dirty and remained dirty even though the restaurant was pretty close to employ. Service was horrible! Went for my sisters bday dinner, we let the server know it was her bday and wanted to get her a dessert and she forgot. My sister ordered a drink and it was never brought out to us. Our appetizer came out after our food. All I ordered was a salad and soup and my soup took an hour to come out, everyone was already done eating. The manager did comp off my soup which like $ 3. Server never came back to refill our waters. I think the food there actually made us sick. Over all it was a terrible experience! I won’t ever be back to this location.

Haven’t eaten here in about two years but decided to go back just to give it a shot. I shouldn’t have. The only reason I gave it two stars was because I found parking right in front of the door and I didn’t have to wait to sit down.(Maybe that was a sign) well we sat down and looked over our menu. We(my daughter and I) picked out our food and waited for the waiter… And waited… And waited. Finally he seen me staring into space and came over and took our order. So we waited some more. He finally started bringing out the food and he gave me the wrong plate of food. I had to wait literally 7 mins before he came back out in order to tell him my order was wrong. He took the plate away without muttering a word. I had to catch him and ask him for butter for my tough crawfish that I ordered. About ten minutes later my food came out and my bacon was half cooked. I asked for a refill on my drink and he brought back the wrong drink. Once again I was waiting on him to come back so I could get that corrected. So once my ticket came back to the table and I glanced over it, of course it was wrong. I have finally had enough and this time instead of trying to catch him I just stopped the manager and asked her to adjust it so I could finally leave! I think this will be my last time coming here again. I’ll just stick to razzoos!

Worst service ever so bad that while sitting at the bar waiting! I see one of the cooks on his cell phone… The lady manager was having to bartend and serve and do Togo orders and the other staff was all standing are kind or running in slow motion… We waited 68 mins for our main course before we asked for our check…

I went with my boyfriend and we got served what we didn’t even order and I got food poisoning from it. Did not enjoy that. I don’t recommend this location.

I’m crazy for seafood, but not so crazy for Joe’s. The food was fine, but it was the things around the food that were kinda messed up. Some of my food was forgotten, another order was mixed up. The kitchen was so loud that you could hear people shouting at each other in the dinning area. Even heard a trey of plates break back there and for some reason the wait staff did the Cupid Shuffle right in the middle of our dinner? Lol Like I said the food was fine and they have some good looking specialty drinks that are worth checking out. Just be prepared for some random craziness.

We eat at joes all the time but tonight was a little different. I understand the wait staff are charged for the crab crackers but for the waitress to say«please don’t steal these, I h Ave pay for them» was very rude! The manager had her apologize but the service went downhill from there. If it had not been for my daughter’s love joes food we would have left! They WILL hear my complaint at corporate!

Place was empty! 12:30 lunch time, a ghost town. How do they pay the bills? As for the grub, it was good. Got a crab leg bucket. Service was good, but I was wondering how the servers make any money. The guest I as with says it is always dead.

Dinner here tonight was really good. I was skeptical because of the reviews. The service was good and so was the food. The drinks were nice too. A lot of bdays but so what. We had a nice time.

I just got back from the beach and was still craving seafood! I decided to come here for lunch and with it being Monday afternoon it was not busy at all which was nice! Our waiter Jarred was new and did an excellent job with his mentor waitress Stephanie. They were prompt, kind, friendly and funny! I ordered the coconut shrimp and a Tranquilizer(the drink not a shot Lol) whew my drink was strong lol, Jarred and Stephanie were great about giving me extra pineapple juice to tone it down some. It was fruity and definitely flavorful! The coconut shrimp was great too. I love the batter especially dipped in their pineapple plum sauce it is a great mixture! This might be a little odd, but the ranch at Joe’s Crab Shack is so dang good. It was like ranch crack for my French fries. This was a great dining experience and I look forward to coming back soon!

Took the family for the first time sometime last week and ordered our food and it seems to be a long wait when we found out the waitress accidentally burnt her hands bringing it out so they threw in free salads and knocked of 50% off the bill. I’m glad she was alright and we will be coming back to this location a lot more.

We sat out on the patio, didn’t get our drink order in for about 20 minutes. The waiter was nice and courteous, he advised that the people that were supposed to prep for that day didn’t so our food took approximately 45 minutes to come out. And once it did it was a big blob of greasy flavorless fried unidentified pieces of «seafood». The service was bad but I wouldn’t blame the understaffed waiter. Wouldn’t recommend because the food was not even appetizing, just go to Louisiana King Crab or Boiling crab for actual edible food.

My husband and I boil crawfish every weekend when they are in season, so I know what live, fresh crawfish should be like. I got the Orleans, and the crawfish were opaque and dry like they had been frozen or something but definitely not fresh. The shrimp were overcooked and dry as well. The sausage was the best thing on the plate, and if it hadn’t had all that seasoning I don’t know if I could’ve eaten it. I got the mango mint tea and could not taste ANY hint of alcohol. For the price I want to know I’m not just paying for muddled mint. We went back since this review, and I added two stars… They have a $ 2.00 hurricane and appetizer special on Tuesday and it is great! We go very often and I get the kid’s steam pot which is only about $ 10, but the perfect portion for me. It is really good every time. The service can still be kind of slow, but for the most part they are dealing with a large crowd and doing their best. Still leaving off one star since some of the food can be bad, and slow service. Otherwise, worth checking out on a Tuesday.

Every time that I goto this location I swear it will be my last. But, I go with friends and I don’t want to be a buzzkill because they want to eat there, but, I will never make the decision to ever dine there for dinner or any other reason alone or with my family. Food is never good. Portion sizes shrink. Pots have undercooked potatoes and corn. Fish smells fishy. The drinks are awesome!

This place is a paradox. Boiled shrimp appetizer, hot and spicy style, warm version. Good. Maine plate, which has lobster, bacon wrapped scallops, bacon wrapped shrimp. Sounds good right? It wasn’t. Lobster tasted downright awful. Bacon in the other items has no hint of crispy. All rubber. Piña colada is fantastic. Frozen pineapple cavity with slushy piña mix, topped with whipped cream. Awesome. Patio punch, tastes like Hawaiin punch mix, sweeeeeet. But still darn good. Wife had a whole plate of bacon wrapped shrimp, hers came out great compared to mine. Oh, and while we were there, 2 punk kids, one of which worked there, got in a fight in the Parkin lot. Stupid. Manager bought our meal as an apology though, so that was cool. It’s cedar hill, we weren’t that surprised.
