Bamboo Palace is probably the best Chinese buffet in the DFW metroplex and I’ve eaten at a lot of Chinese buffets. The food is always fresh, there is a huge selection, and the service is excellent.

Great place for family meals, best time to go is Sunday lunch-food is cooked well, sushi is great and food is hot and wonderful. Always fast service and always friendly staff, but when it’s not busy the food is lacking in taste and heat(but that’s any buffet restaurant). Great place to get my picky child to try new foods.

Yummy yummy yummy. Cali has nothing on this Buffet. The choices were wonderful. Wow steak as a choice. Crab was off the hook. Literally I love that the bathroom was clean. Service for the most part was good. It’s mostly self serve. When I come back home(Texas) I will definitely come.

The food is just okay if that. White rice was freshly streamed, no brown rice. Quality of Sushi bar items was good, but not the best. Service was helpful and fast.

I love this place. I’m enjoying my belated birthday lunch with my mother, my niece, and my uncle. And their food is delicious, especially the sushi and the pepper shrimp.

The food is hot fresh and rather tasty plenty of choices on the buffet, they even have sushi, desserts too. They service can be kinda slow depending on what time you go. I say come in that odd for peaceful dining. I just love the atmosphere here its very welcoming and the décor is very elegant for a buffet restaurant.

Stopped by for lunch today. Oh my gosh it was delicious! Great sushi, seafood, the salad bar was awesome. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Will certainly be returning.

Awesome place. It’s $ 7.95 weekdays for their lunch buffet and $ 13.25 per person for dinner after 3:30 if you get a drink. Unlike most buffet restaurants, you pay after you eat. I like how they have steak and fried shrimp along with sushi and all the other Chinese buffet standards like fresh fruit, jello, fried chicken, and green beans.

The food here is excellent! I love sushi, and they have an excellent variety of non-cream-cheese real sushi. Quality of it was good as well. They had a good spread of traditional buffet items, and my picky son went up for seconds. They had two different varieties of rice, lo mein, and rice noodles. Decent salad bar, and typical fruit and dessert offerings. They also had steak, grilled salmon, and crab legs at dinner time. Items were constantly refreshed. Only dried out items were clams-on-shell, and some other odd item. Crab Rangoon had too much cream cheese, but that’s my opinion. Definite winner!

Every single thing was delicious!!! The sushi was better than most regular sushi places. The kimchi and seaweed salad was fantastic. The service was also great. Will definitely be back again!!!

I love this place. The food is very tasty. The prices are great as well. They have the buffet tables, and the sushi and salad bar. If you decide to dine out they weigh your food, and the price is based on the weight.

The service is good and some food items are good. I just love the chicken wings lol. Some of the stuff doesn’t rotate fast enough. Like lo mein, rice, and seafood. Any food that’s left out to long looses freshness. I don’t come here often for 10 dollars a person I go to Panda Express and get better tasting Asian food for 2. I already have a few Asian places I like already. My family likes it so I go. I like the the pastry desserts no more to say Unilocal sorry?!

My family and I have been coming here since moving to Texas in 2007. They have not changed like most buffets do… for the worse. I love going and getting the clams, crab legs and sushi. I would like to see hotter butter, more plentiful crab legs, and I would suggest if it is possible, to make the food in general hotter. By time I get back to the table it’s usually luke warm. Very good food for the price!

Great variety! My only hesitation with this place is the fruit selection isn’t anything to write home about. If you are able to snag some goodies when they first come out, then you are one of the lucky ones. Great when the food is scorching hot. Okay, when it is just lukewarm. Disgusting if there is a hint of cold.

The shrimp fried rice was disgusting. It was hard, bland and really something I wouldn’t recommend. I know this is buffet styled but I’ve had better rice at a buffet place!

Can you give less than one star? No? Well they get one star for the décor. The food is for the most part unedible. the sushi really truly resembled fish bait. The color of the fish was off. It should have been bright and shiny if it were fresh. Instead it looked dull. The flavor was off. Some of the pieces tasted so foul I had a hard time swallowing them. In fact what I really wanted to do was run to the restroom and spit them out. The rest of the meal wasn’t much better. The rice was dry. The lomein was hard. the grilled items were overcooked and not tasty. Chinese buffets are all you can eat mediocre food at best but this wasn’t even that. I am sure frozen Chinese food tv dinners taste better and are probably made from fresher ingredients.

We ate at bamboo palace for a quick pick me up lunch. It was my first time here. Food aside this place has an AWESOMEDÉCOR. One of the biggest freshest buffets I have ever been too. Everything seemed freshly cooked and they were constantly restocking with new food. I was happy to have been here. It was hard not to eat as much as I wanted.

Ive been in Dallas for almost ten years now and beside my favorite Thai restaurant Banana Leaf in North Dallas ive been very disappointed at the Oriental Scene here in Dallas. This buffet is very good… actually better than most buffets. The food is prepared freshly and taste very good, the sushi is good and atmosphere is nice and for a buffet the food line and the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend this place.
