This hotel looks great, but is far from it. 1st we got a key to an occupied room. We checked in around midnight. It was quite a scare for both of us. The AC doesn’t cool down the room, not very strong. Our back window doesn’t lock, thankfully no one snuck in and killed us. The couch pull out didn’t have any sheets or pillows. But on the bright side the girl working at the front desk was nice and helpful.

This use to be a Best Western. Old but comfortable. Front desk clerk was friendly. Rooms are old, but the beds and pillows are comfortable. Our room had a couch that was not comfortable to sit on. The carpet was filthy and my bare feet turned black. When we turned on the microwave this morning we blew the power in ¾ of the room. They were able to call in a maintenance person to fix it. When we checked out we told the desk clerk about the power to make sure it got reported. She was a little confused about what I was telling her. Also on check out she asked if I needed a receipt. I found that quite odd, and it took forever to print it out. Nice pool area. Mediocre breakfast. Pricey for what it is

Stayed here two nights. What a fantastic place to stay! Front desk girls are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, with all updated furnitures, flat screen tv, free Wifi(doesn’t work all the time) and comes with free hot breakfast. What’s not to love. Las Vegas hotels with same star rating as this gem can’t compare! I will always stay here whenever I go to Brian Head. PS. Get the Jacuzzi Suites if available, you won’t regret it!!!

I absolutely love this place! The front desk lady Edith was very welcoming and kind when we first walked in. She greeted us and situated us with ease. Customer service is spectacular. Although the exterior looks like a motel inn, don’t let it fool you. The room we stayed in was a standard queen bed and it came with a fridge and microwave! The furniture is up to date and interior design got a modern feel to it. If your going to brianhead to snowboard or ski, I recommend staying here. Just not on the holidays because it gets booked out:) Coming back to see my friend Edith

We loved this place! The room was updated and really cute. The bed was comfy, and the heater was great on the very cold night we stayed there. The room was small, but plenty big enough for the two of us. The tv worked, the shower was nice, it was really clean, cozy, and comfy. And the price was awesome! We will stay here again

We can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Zion. Our room was upgraded by Enoch, the wonderful General Manager. He bent over backwards to accommodate us until we were able to pick up our rental car the following day(our plane arrived after Avis closed). He picked us up from the Cedar City airport when our plane arrived and took us back the next day to get our car! Because he has lived here for a while, he was able to suggest stores, restaurants, and sights to see. The hotel was recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. Thank you to Enoch and his very attentive staff. We will recommend you to family and friends.

Updated, very clean and spacious rooms. Great 24 hour front desk with friendly staff. Delicious breakfast went above expectations. Marlon at the front desk was amazing and cheerful. Would definitely recommend this place. Traveled with two kids under the age of 6.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, but Enoch(the Manager) is amazing. I have never encountered such a friendly, gracious, and helpful hotel manager. He gets to know all of his guests from year to year and is a remarkable young man. The location is close to the Shakespeare Festival. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else in Cedar City.

This hotel was newly remodeled. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic, but enough.(pastry, waffle, cereal coffee juice). The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would come back and stay here in the future.

Considering the way affordable price, this place was great. They couldn’t find our reservation and the town was basically booked out everywhere for SUU graduation. For the trouble of not having our reservation they upgraded us to a suit. They were super super nice, awesome customer service. The room it’s self is updated and very clean(most important) and its in a good location. Walking distance from lots of places to eat and main st shops! Will stay again while passing through town

Enjoyed our stay st El Rey. The value is great for the rate. The management is friendly and sincere. The hotel is well maintained and clean. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in with the décor. We plan to do another UT trip next summer and will have El Rey bookmarked. Keep up the good work

Still an OK place to stay. They are still doing a remodel and the parking lot is way too small for the amount of rooms. Ended up parking across street in their over flow parking area and having to haul my stuff in. They still offer the voucher to the Brick Café for Breakfast that is excellent for $ 6.35 saves about 4 bucks. And the food is great. When we were there we had some heavy rain and the parking lot ended up with a 2 foot lake in the middle on account of a plugged drain it went down after a couple of hours. The room I had this time was OK still a 2nd floor with queen size beds(2) could not get a king or a first floor for any of the 5 nights there. Cedar City is a very busy place all year long and people book their rooms 2 years in advance specifying the room they want. So have reservations if you are planning to stay. My self I would stay again if I could not get into the Best Western Town and Country a block away. I think their rooms are nicer and they have an indoor pool and spa.

I don’t make it a habit to stay at any«Best Western,» but the options were limited in the little town of Cedar City and we wanted to stay close to the mountains. Unfortunately, location is the only redeeming quality of this hotel and I can assure you, we will never stay at another Best Western again. I could smell a distinct odor immediately upon entrance, but the icing on the cake was the spot of fresh blood about four times the size of my fist on the bedsheets. Clearly, these were not changed prior to our check in. I called the front desk for a new change in sheets and although she was friendly, it didn’t seem like she knew how to take the proper steps. It took her quite some time to get us new sheets and when she delivered it, she simply handed the sheets to us. We were expected to change the dirty bed sheets ourselves. On top of that, housecleaning neither cleaned the room for us that day nor the following day. Our bathroom had a shower full of hair and the toilet had stains so deep that not even 100 bottles of bleach could remove it. Or maybe they don’t have house cleaning as the whole place had a pungent smell. Breakfast the following day was also a joke. I don’t believe they served anything edible or prepared cleanly for that matter. I couldn’t find hand sanitizers anywhere! Lastly, I know this is Utah, but there is not drop of alcohol at this establishment!

Our family stayed here on a cross country road trip. We stayed in one of the suits, and we were very pleased with our accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are undergoing renovations; however we never heard construction noise. There is an adjoining restaurant with excellent food and equally friendly service. We will very likely stay here on our return trip.

Good clean re-modeled room! Staff quite nice, and very helpful. Outside and building work being done, didn’t bother me. Food was good, at restaurant next door.

We booked this room kind of last minute on . the front desk clerk was incredibly friendly and really knew a lot about the town. While driving to our room though, we noticed that the parking lot is in dire need of re-paving. There were so many pot holes and cracks it was ridiculous. The room at first glance looked clean, small, and cozy. After staying in there for a few minutes longer, we saw that wasn’t entirely the case. The sheets and pillows were clean, bathroom was clean, and so was the floor. The bathroom had cracks in the tile every where, the doors needs replacing and were really dirty. There were also a lot of cobwebs around the place. In every corner, in the bathroom, and in the lamps. The curtains really need to be replaced too, in the sunlight you could see where they were really worn out or torn. This hotel was good for a one night stay, but no more than that.
