Taqueria El Pueblo

Tacos were really small. I had 4 and I still wasn’t full, I usually get full off of 2 tacos. My dad said he’s been there before an the portions used to be a lot bigger

Dropped in to Taqueria El Pueblo in my continued taco quest and I was really impressed. The building is easily accessible from Ramon and they have tons of parking. The room is clean and well lit and the staff is friendly and helpful.
We tried Carnitas, Pollo, Carne Asada, Chorizo and Al pastor tacos. The tacos were served on homemade fresh tortillas that were slightly thicker than traditional tortillas but the were super fresh and tasty.
The tacos had a good amount of meat without being overfilled. They also had a perfectly proportioned amount of cilantro and onion for toppings. The taqueria has a wonderful salsa bar that has a wide selection of toppings and salsas including a few with a real amount of heat to them. The Habanero salsa is tasty and has a major kick.
The Carnitas, Pollo and Carne asada are all great and have perfect flavor and teccture and are not over or under seasoned. The chorizo needed a bit more spice and a little less sweetness, but was tasty. The al pastor was a nice cut of pork, tender and moist but really needed more flavor. All I tasted was the pork.
All in all, a great taqueria that I will be sure to visit again.

Great food, great salsa/​condiment bar, great pricing. Absolutely recommend their Cabeza and Lengua on your burrito or taco.

Time for a couple of taco’s, and I stopped by Taqueria El Pueblo.
The carna asada tacos were good and hit the spot.
I also had a Coca-​Cola that was made in Mexico in a bottle. This was a popular drink with the locals.
The place seemed authenic to me for I was the only non-​Mexican person in the place.
Next time, I want to try some real authenic foods. The cute young waitresses, I am sure, will help me pick something really good out. (Hey guys around 18, come here to eat.)
