Start To Finish Repair and Maintenance

Not what I would expect from a professional.
Was the first handyman service to respond to my call. I had an immediate need, so I went with him. Clearly said I was looking for someone who could do a quick-​fix, followed by a full-​repair. He arrived 45 minutes late. Did not knock on door to let me know he was there. Instead went immediately to the problem area (outside) and starting working on the house without even telling me he was there, I thought that was very odd. When I asked for his proposal, there was unclear talk about 2 possible solutions, but no price estimate, no time frame, nothing; he did not appear interested in the work. Then he charged me $ 60 for 5 minutes of sledgehammering. I felt put on the spot.
I called to let him know I was frustrated and that I was looking for someone who could do a full repair, and I felt overcharged. He lost my phone number, then showed up at my house at 6:15pm a week later to follow-​up; that was also an awkward unclear conversation. Not a very professional situation :/​Not someone I would hire again.

Chris just left after cleaning the drain of my kitchen sink. The sink was not completely clogged, but it was draining slow, and after removing and cleaning the pipes I could access and trying a chemical drain cleaner, I felt I had to let a professional have a crack at it.
I got up early this morning and called different places for about an hour; Chris was one of the few people who got back to me, and gave me by far the most reasonable and straightforward quote. He works hourly (one place I called wanted to charge me per task; this person said he would try to snake the drain for an absurd price, and if that didn’t work he would try something else, with an even higher price). Chris, on the other hand, seemed honest and knowledgeable over the phone, and this impression proved true when he came over and did his work.
He came over exactly when he said he would and cleaned my drain in just over an hour. He was also very personable and easy to talk to, and was very thorough, double checking everything before he left.
Because the price is so reasonable, the service is easy to set up, and you get exactly what was promised exactly when it was promised, I recommend that you give Chris a call if you need some work done around your house. According to the business flier he left, Chris does just about any repair or maintenance job you can think of.

Chris is knowledgeable, honest, and prompt. His prices are fair.
