The Links At Plum Creek

I have never lived at the Links, but I had actually wanted to, until I had a horrible experience with the office staff. When I first walked in to take a tour, the leasing agent rolled her eyes at me and reluctantly grabbed her keys. After the tour, I was so in love with the complex, that I filled out my application right on the spot. Within the next 2 weeks, I had to call the office at least 5 times to check on the status of my application. It was always one thing after another – I always wonder what would have happened if I HADN’T given them a call myself. On my last attempt to speak with a manager in person, I went into the office (after being told earlier that day that she was available) to let them know the troubles I had been having. Upon arrival, I was then told that she was not available and to come back tomorrow. I asked to make an appointment, but she was reluctant in giving me any of her contact information.
All along, I knew that the staff was «new» and «in training,» and that was fine. It was the way they treated me – I left the complex in tears after my final visit, as she was extremely demeaning and rude. I was the most pleasant person to work with, but her attitude was too much to handle.
PLEASE be weary when attempting to rent from this apartment complex. The building is okay, but not worth the emotional troubles dealing with the unprofessional staff.

I just signed my third lease here. I have been very pleased with the maintenance, upkeep and general atmosphere. It is quiet and I feel safe. Any issues I’ve had are addressed the same day. I highly recommend the Kinks.

I give the links at plum creek two stars because they truely don’t know how to care for their customers. They are so sweet when you are trying to find a home there! But once you get the keys they don’t give a rats ass about you. Me and my ex lived here for about a year. Before we moved in, we were told we would have a fireplace. We didn’t. They didn’t even bother to show us the apartment before we moved in. It was a nice place to live overall, until winter came around. Whenever it got too windy or cold the hot water heater would shut off and we would be stuck with freezing water. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal but we couldn’t access the hot water heater because it is in a closet that is locked and not accessible. It shut off about twice a week. Very in convienant. Ten months in me and my boyfriend broke up. He still had the key to the place but moved out. When I wasn’t home he would come over and take things and make a mess and then leave. Sometimes I would even walk in on him laying on the couch sorting through my stuff. I notified the apartment complex that I wanted my locks changed. Waited a week and I never heard anything back from them. It was a safety concern for me and then didn’t even bother to look into what they could do to help me. I don’t recommend this place to anyone that is looking for an apartment. They don’t care about their customers. Not to mention we didn’t get our deposit back and nothing was even wrong with the way we left it.

Nice place to live. The apartments are in good repair and the staff are friendly. We stayed for about a year. We really liked our apartment, its layout, and the amenities. I would have given five stars, but the kitchen area really could have used a better layout and more cabinets. Also, we weren’t allowed to use our fireplace because some inspector discovered that none of the fireplaces in the complex were ventilated properly. They still hadn’t fixed it by the time we left, and I’m not sure if they ever did. All the same, we enjoyed our stay there. The top floor had a beautiful view of the Rock itself, with high vaulted ceilings and big picture windows.

We’ve been here just over 6 months and the staff is amazing. They are always smiling and asking how everything is going. The apartments are pretty nice. I’m not a huge fan of the layout but they were the cheapest and nicest by far.
