We were the first customers at The Chophouse at Plum Creek. What an honor; what an incredible dinner! Among the four of us we shared the shrimp starter, and our entrees were the salmon, the filet, the ribeye and the wagyu burger. We then shared the cheesecake and crème brûlée. Everything was cooked to perfection! Service was amazing… we enjoyed a leisurely dining experience. Run, don’t walk, to your phone or computer to make your reservations now!!!

Castle Rock has long wished for a great steakhouse and finally has one. After a number of failed ventures(anybody remember having to go outside to the bathroom in winter?), the Chop House has the ambiance and menu that you expect from a top quality steakhouse. The place is fairly small but that adds to the charm. Dark wood, elevated seating areas and a great bar all lend itself to a top notch experience. The wait staff was fantastic and 5 different people bring food, drinks and bread to the table. Our drinks were never close to being done without somebody asking us for a refill. It might sound like overkill but I like having more service than less. The food was tremendous. The steaks, 6oz and 10oz, were cooked to perfect and very tender. I ordered the Bearnaise sauce as a precaution and never needed it. The beef carpaccio was amazing and the salads with a good amount of dressing. A large wine list and even some special bottles as well. Most importantly, the Chop House doesn’t gouge you on price. Compared to Mortons, Del Frisco, or Shanahans, it’s not even a contest. We’ll be coming back for drinks and apps at the bar as well as a steak when we are in the mood. Need to make sure this place sticks around. One note for people going for the first time. There isn’t much signage outside the building or directions on where the restaurant is. It’s right next to the Plum Creek Golf clubhouse and at the main entrance. Thankfully, it’s pretty straight forward to find the place but hopefully with success will bring some better signage.

Been here a couple of times now. Both times were delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Had the Rib Eye the first time and then the Filet. Both were good, but my favorite was the Rib Eye with a good Cabernet. Drinks were good. Servers need more experience. But definitely nice to have a quality steakhouse in CR.

Wow! This little hidden gem in our town is amazing! Fancy, delicious, great steak! Bananas Foster that may put me in a coma but I can’t stop! Only one complaint. Sooooooo LOUD! Thrilled to have found this fabulous alternative to straight up downtown eateries. Excellent service! A touch of our northern restaurants class right here in The Rock!

It was our first time to the Chop House and we were glad we went. There were three of us and we were in a beef-eating mood. Two of us had the aged rib eye(rare) and the other had the filet(med-rare.) We also got the onion and mushroom accompaniment to share. The rib eyes were both a bit tough(a factor in taking away the star) but tasty. The filet was definitely the better selection. All of the steaks were cooked as we wished. The mushrooms and onions definitely added a nice flavor to the meal and the wine(cab and merlot) went well with the steaks.

The food is insane good. I have had the pork chop(brined and incredibly moist) and Tuna app just now. My wife has pushed away from steaks as past few at other restaurant have not hit the mark. She had the New York strip and commented, «best she steak she can remember». We are going to be regulars. The couple next to me said the same thing and noted, «almost don’t want to share on social media so doesn’t get too crowded». Sorry, this place is going to get more and more known and popular.

Awesome new place. Small restaurant so reserve early. More than fair pricing for amazing apps and our steaks were perfect.

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. We were very impressed, the food and the service were stellar. I ordered a 6 oz filet mignon with mashed potatoes and a side salad. My husband ordered the NY Strip oscar style with potatoes Au Gratian and then then sautéed spinach to share. The steaks were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and our sides were all fantastic. We ordered dessert, the chocolate cake, which was the perfect way to end the meal. We went home with a lot of leftovers, which my husband said was still good today. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, she did a great job. We’ll be back over and over!

Michele and Team do it with class. Finally, a 1st class Chophouse in Castle Rock. Plum Creek is warm and comfortable with amazing food and service! The Foie Gras on your choice of steak is amazing. Bring your date, bring your friends… you won’t be disappointed!

House salad with blue cheese and the 10ounce filet were both fabulous. Husband had the ribeye which was also good and both steaks were cooked to medium rare perfection. Service was good and our table in the corner was quite nice. Noise level was fine even when completely full. We will be back!

Fantastic! Exceptional food, from starters to dessert. Highly recommend the carpaccio and the rib-eye. Our server Ben was one of the best servers we’ve ever had, very knowledgeable and professional. The restaurant is very small and appears to get full quickly, so reservations are a must. A little noisy the night we went but overall good ambiance. This is a go-to place for exceptional food and great service.

Quite simply, this place fills a long standing void in the Castle Rock restaurant offering. Very warm and inviting environment, respectable wine selection and AMAZING steaks. Honestly, everything on the menu looked delicious, and I will absolutely circle back again to try some of the other items. I’m eager to turn my friends and family on to CH@PC. I’m sure they will be equally as impressed!

Amazing food and great service just as I expected! I had the pork chop and tried some calamari for app, they were fabulous. The venue is also very warm and comfortable. Way to go Michel and company!

You expect hiccups on a «soft opening» night, but none happened. Great service! The Dry Aged Rib Eye was awesome as was the Alaskan Salmon. The Crispy Wonton Tuna Tataki was very much to my liking too. The Chop House — Plum Creek should do very well here in Castle Rock.

Had the filet mignon for the main course with the loaded potato outstanding flavor ! Great atmosphere and for opening night fantastic service! Kudos to plum creek for getting it right ! The head chef was born in France where he cooked before going to New York City then came out castle rock Co to share his culinary skills. Will definitely be back !!

Castle Rock has some great restaurants, but nowhere to get a really good steak — until NOW! I was lucky enough to be at their first table EVER with my parents and husband, and we had an amazing experience. The peppadew shrimp starter was good, especially with the arugula salad. But I honestly would have been just as happy with the homemade breads and balsamic vinegar/oil dipping sauce. Now let me get to the good stuff. At our table, we had the wagyu burger, rib eye, 6 oz. filet, and Alaskan salmon. EVERYSINGLETHING was cooked to perfection and sooo delicious. Make sure to get the yin & yang accompaniment with the steaks! We also had dessert — crème brûlée and cheesecake — and both were done perfectly. I am also impressed with the prices. The food is well worth what they’re asking. Overall, a truly delightful dining experience!!! We will absolutely go back.
