Goodwill Donation Center

After donating to various Goodwill stores over several decades, I was disappointed to find that this particular Goodwill needs to monitor employees/​volunteers. I have been to this location four times since my recent move to Castle Rock — the first time, a cordial, polite young woman greeted me and helped me carry my donations. The last three trips, a frowning, unhelpful man reluctantly took boxes and bags out of my arms in a manner that suggested I was inconveniencing him. I said would you like to grab a couple of boxes out of my trunk… he replied «No, but I have to». My final visit (and I stress FINAL), same guy — I mentioned that one of the boxes had fragile items inside and his response was «99% of fragile stuff will be broken here», and he promptly dropped the box and we heard glass breaking. He laughed and said «See?».
Never again. I’m done.
