FirstBank likes to put themselves out there as a friendly local bank. And I’m sure there are many branches where that is the case. Unfortunately the«Douglas» or «Doug» branch is not one of them. From the«market» president Wes King to the supervisors including Becca McCulley, these folks are just plain unfriendly. Sure, if you’re a «big whig customer» they are happy to cater to your needs, but if you are an ordinary working joe customer, don’t put them out in any way(like asking for change) or they’ll call you on it. They’ll tell you that you are costing them money and causing a problem. Seriously. I have to admit that I’ve banked at a lot of different banks and some are easier to work with than others… None are perfect. But I can’t recall having a harder time with a bank or it’s management than this one. The tellers are mostly friendly, but I guess they are stuck in the middle. My advice? Join your local Credit Union. Credit Union’s are non-profit, owned by their members and I’ve never been mistreated in one…
