This is our go to Chinese restaurant for take-out. The food is always ready when we are told it will be, the staff is always super nice. We love their potstickers/gyoza/dumplings and ponzu dipping sauce — that is always a mainstay in our orders.

LOVE their mango milk tea! Always friendly whenever I come in and food comes out hot and in a reasonable time. My go to Chinese take out.

Eh. Compared to Chinese food in NYC or CA, this is mediocre at best. For the local area, not too bad. The General Tso’s chicken was only slightly spicy and way too sweet. The complimentary fried noodles were stale this time(although on other visits they’ve been OK). Beef lo mein and wonton soup were tasty enough, but the mixed egg drop/wonton soup had a gelatinous texture from the overzealous use of arrowroot or cornstarch thickener. Neither soup had the usual shreds of pork and scallion(a plus for my dining companion, a minus for me). On the plus side, prices are very reasonable, portions are good, and they usually have takeout orders ready promptly.

I love their Singapore chow mei fun. It’s a curry rice noodle dish with pork, chicken, and shrimp. Lots of flavor. Have not tried much else on the menu except for the broccoli in garlic sauce which was good too. The people there are nice. They also have some Thai dishes but I haven’t given them a try. I’m a little hesitant since it’s a Chinese place.

If one were to review every Americanized Chinese takeaway(«take-out») quick-service restaurant in the area, well, the amount of indigestion would be immense. Hence, rarely do they get Unilocal reviews — but this one was a cut or two above the norm. Granted, sometimes the standards aren’t very high for these places, just a bar above fast-food restaurants, but at least not everything is fried and there are many vegetable choices at these places, typically. This place has the usual items that make up the staple of American Chinese food(and would probably be unrecognizable in most of China), and they do them well. There are even some dishes usually only found in more upscale places, such as crispy salted eggplant, which is basically deep-fried eggplant — pretty delicious, although probably not very healthy! Other vegetarian options include mapo tofu(without meat), and assorted mixed vegetables and mei fun rice noodles. Overall, can’t complain.

Living in Casselberry for many years, Wah Yoan became my «go to» fast chinese restaurant. Like many of the other local chinese restaurants, Wah Yoan serves the typical New York style Chinese menu, including spring rolls, wonton, egg drop, fried rice and lo mein(with vegetable, pork, chicken), plus the usual house specialities such as general tso’s, bourbon chicken, and sesame chicken, just to name a few. The inside is rather small, but has about 4 or 5 tables for dining in. While I have dined in on a few occasions, I mostly call ahead and take away. The staff are easy to speak to and understand over the phone, with orders generally taking between 10 – 15 minutes, although I have arrived earlier and it is always ready. They do take credit cards, but I believe have a sign requiring $ 10.00 minimum transaction. The food itself has always been great, and I find myself coming up short on my never ending search for a quick take away chinese place around the winter park area comparable in price and quality. From generous lunch special portions, or if you are just in the mood for some lo mein, definitely check these guys out when you are in the area!

I have gone here off and on for several years. I recently had the house fried rice and it was excellent! Nice and light and flavorfull with a bit of everything mixed in.
