Great staff! Great Atmosphere and upbeat energy. We have only live in Cary for a few weeks and have visited 4 times!

This is a great place and the food is awesome! Me, my wife and four kids stopped in here for a quick bite on Halloween. I had a chicken chimichanga with rice on the side. It was great by itself, but I wanted to try some of the sauces. There was a huge selection of sauces, from sweet and slice to death wish hot. I went for the sweet and spicy. I picked«Slap my sweet ass and call me Sally.» That went really well with my chimichanga. The portions are big and the prices are right. The staff was all dressed in costumes and were super friendly, even with my chatty kids. We plan to come back again. Sunday’s are kids eat free, FYI.

Went yesterday for their promotion, taco Tuesday. Great value. Upgraded to the steak and carnitos and thought both were tasty. Service was also very good, complete with drink and chip refills. Great Tuesday deal.

Tijuana Flats is a tasty TexMex joint with an alternative vibe, delicious food, and a ragingly amazing hot sauce bar! Really– what more do you need? This TF location has been at the corner of High House & Davis Drive since February & they need more love… they’re doing many things right! It’s a counter service Mexican place that’s perfect for a tasty lunch. The staff was over the top nice & the food was even better. They have a few local drafts(HiWire brown ale, Hoppyum, Endless River Wit, & more). Booze aside, my favorite thing about this joint is the hot sauce bar– the Rasta habanero sauce is deeeelicious. We had a five-course meal at a Unilocal event this week with great service, which is hard to find at a semi-fast food place! For apps, they brought a sampler of chips with queso, guac, & salsa(their queso is hands down some of the best ever). We then noshed on two kinds of flautas(chicken & beef) followed by my favorite Bangin Chicken burrito(spicy & satisfying). They then brought around blackened chicken tacos but I was saving room for sweets… and oh they didn’t upset– the cookie dough flautas were on point! I usually frequent the TF on Kildaire Farm bc it’s close to work, but I’ll make my way to Morrisville for this one… and I hope you do too :)

I tried Tijuana Flats for the first time during a free Unilocal Event. The event was great and Tijuana had SO much food for us, it was insane and everything was good. They started with Flautas which were delicious. I liked the ground beef and chicken, but the chicken was a little better. Then we tried the buffalo chicken burrito — it was like blending buffalo wings and a burrito — aka amazing. They are known for this and I understand why. Then we got each got a soft chicken taco. The seasonings on everything they have is really unique and good. They are known for their hot sauces and have a wall of them — I tried 3 and all great. My favorite was the garlic one. I did avoid the crazy hot ones, so venture at your own risk. The night ended with cookie dough flautas for dessert– if you go here, get these. They are warm with cookie dough in the middle of flauta dough and served with chocolate dipping sauce. They have many drink options as well. I tried the Sangria but it’s a little sweet. I’d say stick with beer and they have several beer options to choose from.

Wow, the Tijuana folks were so generous with a wonderful variety of menu items to try for a recent Unilocal event. They served us several items from their menu — in mass! From the chicken and ground beef flautas to the buffalo chicken burritos — zing!, and even soft chicken tacos, yes, I tried them All! There was even dessert cookie dough flautas and it was a real treat! The décor is fun and inventive and unique to each and every location — very cool. The staff is excellent! Welcoming, friendly, and very attentive!

Probably one of the weakest salads I have ever had. The lettuce was wilted and barely filled half the container, there was probably less than ¼ cup of chicken on there, and the guacamole I was told would be on the salad, was not. The chicken was decent, the few bites I had. Only plus, chips and salsa were good.

I had Tijuana Flats a few years ago at the other Cary location. I vaguely remember liking the nachos. I tried the new Cary location with high hopes. I ordered the norrito bowl. I was disappointed. The amount of guacamole on that came with it was a joke. There were so many onions my car still smells. Chipotle and even Lime are better than Tijuana Flats. The only plus side was that my order was ready for pickup on time. Staff was really friendly and they offered samples. I won’t be going back there.

Great stuff. I like their food a lot. It’s super American Mexican food but they make some tasty flavors. Also, if you’re a hot sauce fan they have a bunch of unique ones to try out. I think the most surprising thing is the level of service you get which is well over what I’d expect at a place like this. Every employee was extremely friendly and helpful. I’m very happy that they opened a location in a more convenient location to me! Try the cookie dough flautas!!!
