My mother-in-law(m-i-l) moved into this facility several months ago. We had high hopes my m-i-l would be well cared for. We were disappointed. My sister-in-law frequently needs to stop by for visits to make sure that my m-i-l is OK because the facility’s care is poor. Some examples: * The care providers very frequently take over 45 minutes to respond to the use of the in-room call buttons, if they respond at all. In one instance, the care providers did not respond when my m-i-l needed to use the bathroom. So she attempted to get herself to the bathroom and fell. In another case, the responsible care provided never showed up to any call. We found the care-provider’s beeper buried in my m-i-l’s bedding. The care-provided evidently never noticed that her beeper was missing. * Despite the facilities promises, the care provided do NOT make any attempt to get to know about the residents. My m-i-l broke her hip over a week ago, and we have yet to have a care provider show up that actually knows my m-i-l’s hip is broken. * The care providers to not act in accordance with agreements. We have an agreement with the facility that my m-i-l will NOT be taken to the hospital if she falls. The facility is supposed call the in-house hospice people. Guess what the facility did when my m-i-l fell? Yep, took her to the hospital. So, in summary, this place is not worth the expense. The facility will promise a wonderful time for the residents. They do NOT deliver on their promises. The one positive to the facility is that the physical facility is very nice.
