My S&W MP Shield is jamming even after sending it back to the factory via the store. I dropped off the gun at the store and they kept it for a week and half until sending it in. I called for an update and the guy at the gun section acted like he can care less and said he didn’t know anything about it. Had to ask for a Supervisor to get some details. Store didn’t offer any refunds, replacement or any resolution. This is going on for over 2 months now. Their gun prices are also high. A Glock 19 costs $ 589. I bought a Glock 19 with night sights, brand new out of the box at the C&E Gun show for $ 560.

I have to admit I was very much impressed. Some of the ammo prices may be a bit lower elsewhere. However there is a massive selection in a very clean and well presented store. It has anything a hunter, fisher, or camper might want. I have to admit the trophies on the back wall of the store are very impressive and add a little something extra to this sport shop. Also keep an eye out for sales, every now and then there are some extremely nice ones that come up.

We wanted to get a new canoe but didn’t have a lot of time. The manager, Don, listened to our concerns and questions about the best fitting canoe for our family, asked good qualifying questions, gave us important info about local and state requirements, kept our budget in mind, and got us out of there with a great canoe and all the equipment we needed in under an hour. He was relaxed, professional and personable. Easiest and best $ 650 we ever spent!

My teenage daughter has been asking me for several years to teach her how to shoot a firearm and a bow. Since I don’t want her messing with live ammunition(yet), I decided to come by here over a lunch hour to see what they have for BB or pellet guns and bows that don’t require 50 lbs of pull. I can get lost here, exploring everything from firearms and ammunition to outdoorsy or countryish clothing lines to camping equipment to canoes and kayaks. Ammunition appeared to be plentiful and reasonably priced. I think it’s an awesome place, but the store is not going to be for everyone.

Stopped in to take a look at this new store. I’m not much into«field or stream» but it is kind of fun to see what they have. Nice selection of goods for any of those interests and the clothes and shoes are great quality. The stuffed animals are interesting to see up close if for nothing else, but the sheer size of them!

Great new store in the triangle area(located within Cary, North Carolina), for all of your outdoor needs. Huge selection of fishing equipment, boating supplies and more. Impressive clothing and shoe lines, gun & ammo supplies, etc. With it being the grand opening there are many friendly staff members with great information on the equipment and supplies available for camping, fishing, canoeing, boating, bow hunting, and hunting in general. Very impressive grand opening. We will definitely be back. In comparison to the Bass Pro Shop that recently opened in Cary, North Carolina, this is a very similar establishment. The main difference that we found was in the fact that this store does not have a huge aquarium like the Bass Pro Shop store in Cary, NC does. Other than that, it is a very similar layout. Also, this store doesn’t seem to have a home décor section like the Bass Pro Shop does, where you could purchase items to dress up your home in a log cabin style, etc. Still though, this is a very large outdoor goods store, and a great one at that. We were especially impressed with their rugged clothing options for all ages. I have always liked buying outdoor clothing and gear all year-round. It is durable and most often weather-resistant in all types of climate conditions. This store offers everything you can imagine in all-weather clothing and gear. You will not be disappointed if you are shopping for great clothing and footwear here since they have such a huge selection to choose from. One note for the grand opening time period: Parking is limited during grand opening week, so traffic is being directed. Be patient or park across the shopping center at the Harris Teeter/Target/Petco shopping center that is directly across the intersection and walk across.
