Georgio’s House of Pizza

What should I say??? Well there’s nothing in caver to eat… But I love salads so I stopped in and had one. Well for lunch I was very impressed fresh lettuce fresh ingredients spot on. These people work it every day. They care and it shows in the quality they give you. When in Carver you won’t get fancy but go to Georgio’s and you’ll be treated right.

Loved ordering from here with my friend because the food always tastes amazing. Well we found out they had a secret ingredient when we decided to order at the location and not over the phone. We walked in as they were mopping because it was close to close. The woman stopped mopping, took our order, and without washing her hands or putting on gloves proceeded to make our subs. Nasty.

Georgio’s is simply the best take-​out pizza and sub shop in the area. I have lived in town most of my life, but when I moved away at time I found myself wishing where I was had s pizza joint like Georgio’s Pizza in Carver. I have never in the decades my family has been patronizing this establishment been disappointed with the quality, portion or price of their food. It is a take-​out place with very limited seating and typical pizzeria décor, so I recommend take-​out. But, there are booths available. Delivery is very consistent, but is course at busy time you might wait. I think the LONGEST we ever waited was 45 minutes. But, usually they are very timely. We typically have pizza. The toppings are always fresh and delicious. We are fond of the Georgio’s Special which cost more but is LOADED with toppings. The subs are great. Again, never have been disappointed. If you are in the area, maybe visiting Edaville RR or King Richard’s Faire try them for dinner after. (You will save a fortune over King Richsrd’s Faire food prices)

This establishment must be new to Eat 24. They are more than willing to except payment before they call you to let you know they do not deliver to your location.

Food came super fast — was delicious!!! Reasonable prices, friendly staff! Will return next time we visit Edaville!

Best Pizza on the south shore! Im from boston so i know real pizza. Debbie is the sweetest and they always make my order just how i want, Never had a bad experience … Thank you georgies

Their food was good until I noticed some workers making subs with no gloves on and just using their bare hands. It’s unfortunate because their steak and cheeses were awesome!

Good food and order is always correct! We have ordered take out many times and never disappointed. Many choices on the menu and prices are fair.

Haven’t been to Georgios in years. Basically moved away and it became too far. Tried it again today while I was in the area. Staff was nice and accommodating while the food was fresh and crisp. Right on Georgios, right on! :-)

This review went from two star to three star. It’s really 2 ½ stars but whatever. When I entered the small, dirty restaurant, I had forgotten that it was game day and I was entering around 1:30. Patriots start at two. So I asked: «I’m getting a cold sandwich to go, will it be long?». To which he replied «no». Ok great then. This is when a woman that was standing nearby started asking a million questions at rapid fire pace.
«what kind?»
«Uh, veggie»
«Roll toasted?»
«no, I want the whole thing cold, because I am on my way to work and won’t be able to eat it right away»
«Lettuce? Pickles? Fried onions and peppers?»
Now that wasn’t the whole list she spat at me, but I want to point out two things:
1. I hate when whomever takes my order doesn’t write down my veggie subs (or as I refer to it «Shannon’s heart attack on bread», because it is very complicated, and they always screw it up.
2. I had already said that I wanted it cold. Note the fried Peppers and Onions? Because I didn’t.
So now she’s off like a bat out of hell making my sandwich. Which was great, because I was running late. But I know better to keep an eye out on the person making my sandwich if they haven’t written it down because like I said «they always screw it up». I notice her go over to the grill, where she tells the kid there that has (I kid you not) 20 chicken cutlets frying, and some mystery meat (I’m thinking steak) frying. I hear her say something about a veggie sandwich, and then I watch in horror as the kid kinda moves over the mystery meat to make room for… onions and peppers. But he didn’t move the meat all the way out of the way, so they were mixed together at the edges. I politely ask if that was mine, and she said «I asked you if you wanted them fried». Knowing not to argue with someone making my food, and figuring that at least I didn’t eat it, and the man I was talking to was very apologetic anyways. After all that, and 8 dollars later, I was out the door hoping that the sandwich was correct. And it was! Very, very tasty in fact! I will possibly order from them again in a pinch, but it won’t be over the phone, I want to be there in person.

Best place in Carver. Has always been

I went there to get a slice of pepperoni pizza for lunch. First of all, when we got there the lady was just standing behind the counter on her phone for 10 minutes. When she finally noticed us I asked for my pizza and she snapped «we have no pepperoni, what do you want?» Suffice it to say we left and never came back. The pizza isn’t that great anyways.

Fast service. Pizza is good. A bit pricey though. I would recommend you try it for yourself

Poor customer service. Expensive and the food is just so so.

great pizza, great subs. stmosphesere is a little hectice, but thats just how it is, reminds you of being in downtown boston, if they are busy in there.
