The librarians are generally ok in terms of friendliness. The«carver room» is interesting and cool. I have had many many Cub Scout meetings there and they have been relatively accommodating. The computers work ok and the activities they have for younger kids are good.

Where history never grows old The Carver Public Library is a new, huge and visual stunning library that manages to incorporate the charm and charisma of an old and historic library with the convenience, size and efficiency of a modern library. It’s aesthetically appealing from both the outside and in, with lots of natural light, plenty of open spaces to spread out and cozy nooks and corners to relax in. It’s a library where you can breathe even when a lot of other people are around. Even though it is large and sprawling, it’s so well and logical organized that everything is easy to find. Just a pleasure to walk around and look at how well the architects and designers did their jobs. The views from the upstairs is wonderful and even the most claustrophobic individual will feel comfortable inside. One of the coolest parts of the library is the Carver Room. Dedicated to genealogy and local history it has antiques, old maps and oodles of cool stuff to look at. A place to spend some time even if you don’t care about the area. Several very nice libraries quilts give homage to tradition and history but rows of computers and wifi shows the way to the future. A library that is looking straight ahead but will never forget what came before it.
