Every time I come to this particular subway I am always left wondering why the employees are in such horrible moods. So much so that now I am worried they are being emotionally or even physically abused in the back. Being a student at CSUDH I come to eat here quite often and have never once been satisfied with the service. Either this subways employees undergo the worst working conditions on a day to day basis, or the hiring manager proactively goes out of their way to hire the moodiest people they can find. The only reason why this review is worthy of two stars is because it’s still subway at the end of the day, and I really like sandwiches.

This subway is reality good when the line is decent, but if they have long lines do not expect a good sandwich.

The Line takes a long time to move up, but hey its understandable since they always have a lot of people wanting to eat from there. The employees are really nice and they are very helpful, well at times depending who is working there. But their food is always fresh.

You go to subway to have someone build your sandwich the way you want. Leticia was looking up over the counter with out tilting her head, peering at me with EVIL eyes as I requested additional pickles. This experience was really unpleasant but the hunger I felt pushed me to continue through that assembly line with her evil eyes fixed on mine. I don’t know where that girl inherited that stare but I would suggest an alternative sandwich artist. Beware of ordering Pickles, for Leticia will give 1 and get angry when you prefer a few more. Yikes.

I like this location because it is located on campus & the workers are efficient & aware of a time crunch. They are proactive & work together to keep the line moving. Staff is nice & will even suggest money saving tips. As far as food — it’s Subway. You know what you are getting & how it will taste. Nothing out of the ordinary. Regardless — 4 stars.

I love this Subway. It’s always nice and clean… but at times it’s EXTRAEXTRA packed with USC students which can be kinda eeekkk. The service I’ve always gotten from here is great. These people are always greeting with a smile, making those smiles contagious :) I’m a satisfied customer as long as they continue with those positive vibes!

Hey it’s subway, can’t say much more that that. One thing about this Subway is that it attracts a lot of people here. Don’t be surprise to see a long line during lunch from both CSUDH and CAMS peeps. What bugs me about this one is that at one time there was a sign on the fountain that wanted 50¢ on refills. But some people just getaway with it by refilling anyways without paying. The workers here assemble your sandwich like an assembly line but for your sandwich and I don’t think there has been a time I got an annoying attitude from the employees. Now if there was only in In-N-Out here.

This was a very good decision in putting this Subway at CSUDH. The lines are usually long especially once lunch hits but it goes by relatively fast b/c there is so many employees working. i come here to get my favorite sandwich in the morning b/c there is usually no wait unless it’s the first week of school. I love Subway in general so it’s a win win for me being that it’s at CSUDH. The staff are really social if there isn’t a long line. I’m not picky about the customer service here being that it is at the college and there are a lot of students wanting Subway. Im happy as long as my sandwich continues to taste exactly how I like it.

Bless your heart, CSUDH Subway!!! You feed the hell out of us students and alumni everytime we are at the Loker Student Union like a bunch of Oliver Twists who want«more». LOL at some of the starving students who save their Subway cups to get a refill on the low. This particular subject is no joke!!! Literally lines of students and staff come through hungry as hell like some patients waiting for the«cure» to avoid the zombie virus! The workers tend to keep a smiling face while multi-tasking, which is really hard to do, so I applaud them for that. Everytime I walk by this Subway, it looks like the office scenes from the movies«Wallstreet» and«Boiler Room» amongst the workers. Just non-stop moving, similar to the workers at In-N-Out Burgers. Not kissing butt just because it’s in my alma mater, this Subway and its workers really really really puts it down. I highly appreciate them for putting up with everyone, every hour till’ they clock out and hit the Toro bar right next to them, lol.

Pretty much a regular Subway, but I have to give it at least 3 stars because it is so close to work. One of my 2 healthier options in this Area.

I am so glad that there is a Subway inside the campus here @ CSUDH. I really love sandwiches, and think that they are a greeat alternative to the junk food that a lot of consumers who are in a hury tend to gravitate to. It gets VERYVERY busy during the regular semester sessions, but it’s to be expected. They do have a lot of workers on staff most occasions to handle the heavy customer traffic, and they have pretty damned good attitudes to be in the middle of such a morass of hungry people who are more often than not, stressed out over exams and papers… hmmm, that reminds me. no, I won’t go there. I could harp on the fact they do not brew coffee after 11Am, but not everyone is a coffee nut like me and my associates. Better planning on my part I guess. Ah! One last thing. Whoever had the bright idea to put those video screens right where the customers are ordering while that music blares overhead – what the heck were«they» thinking? I truly appreciate this Subway being here, and am thankful for the workers who bust their butts for hungry students and faculty. By the way, if you don’t think there are enough toppings being put on your sandwich, speak up and say something, you’re the customer, and they are trying to go as fast as they can. I’m sure that being a «mind-reader» is not one of the qualifications for being hired at Subway!!! Two rocking devil horns up!

Go with your gut or it will take you for a ride. Went here on the middle of flu season. I was already feeling sickly fighting the flu like everyone else. As I was waiting for one employee to make the sandwich another employee was cleaning the food preparation area. I remember thinking to myself that this lady looks like she dying from the flu. She was pale, looked very sad and tired. She was wiping the area but was using a wet towel that was getting into the veggies as she was wiping. I thought to myself man that does not look good but did not want to say anything. I know what happens if you piss off a fast food worker. You could end up with complementary special sauce in your food. I went against my gut and ate the sandwich anyway. Two hours later I had developed a high fever, painful body aches, headache, and stomach aches. I went home from work early. At about 2AM I woke up from my sleep and was on the crapper immediately. The pain I experienced was excruciating as I sweat and almost teared up until my body expelled the demons. Every time I hear Subway now, I cringe…

This Subway is ok. But that’s about it. The employees really don’t have much common sense, kind of robot-like and never really get any better. I wonder if these sort of people ever try to think about the other side of the counter? Like that that person standing there is actually going to EAT the thing you are heartlessly constructing???
