Worst customer service ever. Theres only 3 of us waiting in line but it took them a while before i got some help. And then the girl who was helping me keeps talking to her coworkers and even forgot to give me my food. I always go back though hoping they would change but they havent. So i guess that is the last time ill ever buy food from this place.

I like going to Seafood City for cheap, fresh fish. I took a different route and found myself driving down Main St. in Carson. I’m always on the lookout for unusual eats. I see a small strip mall and pop into the market for some very nice tuna for $ 4.99 a pound. A couple of doors down, I see a sign advertising Street Food! for a dollar a stick. Its Piney Food Republic. They tell me that is Fri-Sun evening. I try some of the BBQ sticks and decide its well worth checking out on a weekend. It was quite busy this last Sunday evening. I’m not that familiar with Filipino food; I found the staff quite helpful in explaining the various items. Everything I tried was quite tasty. I could use some help explaining the soups and stews.

I came here for lunch a couple weeks ago. I had been craving some filipino soup, and the free soup that came with the combos satisfied. Their pork on a stick was good. I have one comment, it has been really hot lately and air conditioning would be a great investment for them.

Awesome BBQ! Very nice folks. You have to try the ice cold drinks. They also have best potato and vegetable lumpia. Freaking awesome place.

Salty, undercooked and dirty. It’s always crowded because there’s not enough space. The trash when we went there was very full and stinky. Never again. Disappointing.

++++++ the good — Nice, crispy okoy(needs more shrimp, though) — HUGE turons! They were the size of my forearm!(Ok, I’m exaggerating, but they were pretty big. Yes, I’m still talking about turon here. :P) — Seemed more organized than similar Pinoy street food vendors in the area — Order came out fast — Lots of sauces to choose from — — — the bad/areas for improvement — Bathroom was all out of TP and paper towels. — Music playing from outside clashed with the karaōke outside. The cacophony made me cringe like when I hear nails to a chalkboard. *shudder* — Ordering area was a bit cramped. I kept bumping into people.

Solid Filipino street food every Friday to Sunday at 5pm to 9pm. The place is literally look like a food joint back in Manila. My girlfriend and I came here for the street food and it was great. They have free Karaōke room while eating, how cool is that! I love their beverages of gulaman and melon juice. The chicken intestine is the best menu item they got, its a must when you in here. My only complain is some of food are not warm enough so it takes away the freshness of it, but overall great! If you’re an adventurous food eater, this is the place for you

First time trying Filipino food! Very tasty interesting dishes! They had a big variety of foods and you can sample their dishes as well, which is good for first timers. Their pancit(?) noodles were so bomb, definitely my fav there! Ended my meal with their fried banana lumpia and was pleasantly surprised to taste the jackfruit in there too(first time I’ve tried fried banana with jackfruit in it) and it tasted DELICIOUS! Perfect amount of sweetness. Service was great and had a home-y feel to it. I believe it’s a family business. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Very convenient location since they are located in the same plaza with a supermarket as well. Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes that I couldn’t fit in my stomach this time. :)

Very bad service. I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star. The tall light Filipino guy gave me all soup for sinigang when i ordered large. A large palabok wasn’t enough. And he took probably 5 minutes on every food i ordered. Maybe if he wasn’t wearing ear phones he’d be more focused.
