Meat Lovers and Hawaiian pizza are the best I’ve ever had in their respective styles. Actually, I’ve had a better Meat Lovers at another pizza place but it was so fatty and greasy that every bite would make my heart skip a few beats. Not here. This place knows how to balance toppings with cheese, sauce and bread. The Meat Lovers comes with pepperoni, meatballs, ham and sausage. Closest thing to perfect as you can get. The Hawaiians ham is perfectly tender and delicious and the pineapples are as fresh tasting as possible. The bread they use for the pizza doesn’t have the best taste but I’m more about the sauce, cheese and toppings, anyway. This is my favorite pizza place and I doubt I can ever go back to chain pizza places when I can get similar or better quality from Pappadoz at a much more competitive price. Come over to Pappadoz. This is as good as it gets when it comes to overall value. Lastly, this place takes Visa, Mastercard and. .. AMEX! YES! HALLELUJAH! This place is legit!

Very solid food. Ordered the meatball sub and the bbq chicken sub, as well as three different types of smoothies. The meatball sandwiches were delicious(my husband says one of the best meatball subs he’s ever had.) The bbq chicken was good-it was no Busy Bee’s from San Pedro, but it was decent. The smoothies were delicious. We had the strawberry watermelon, the mixed berry(my favorite) and the Blueberry orange banana smoothie. All of them were excellent, and it’s a nominal price difference to get the larger drink. Never been to the physical place, as I have always ordered through grubhub. Takes about 40 minutes for delivery, which is average for the places on there. We also got the garlic bread sticks(generous portion) and these were gone almost immediately. Greasy and delicious, just like they should be!

Well, I had such high hopes for this place. I was planning an evening meal for our work inventory night, and we always do chain pizza. I thought I’d try someone different and Pappadoz has really good reviews and pics on Unilocal. I did 6 of the family specials(XL2 topping pizza, bread-sticks and salad). What a disappointment! First off, the order was 15 minutes early. I had no place to reheat, so it was barely warm when we ate it. The crust and topping coverage looked nothing like the pics uploaded from folks. I don’t know if someone else was cooking my night or what. There wasn’t enough cheese to even cover the bottom. The crust had no yeasty yummy taste, and was flat as a pancake.(see others pics… great looking crust, right?) On a positive note, the sauce did have a really nice flavor. Salads were all-right, but they give you this tiny cup of dressing for a large container. Not nearly enough. Garlic breadsticks was ok, but again… cold. It would have been fine if it was just for me and my family, but this was a work thing and I felt terrible for how it turned out. Boo! I’ll keep trying other places till we find a good one…

We had a large pepperoni pizza, a roast beef sub, and a BBQ chicken sub. In my opinion, the pizza was just OK. Nothing I would particularly crave. The sandwiches, however, were super delicious. Premium quality, full of flavor. I wish it was around when I went to Carson High.

Pappadoz is a very tiny mom ‘n pop pizza shop. They have a special deal of $ 5.99 large pepperoni or cheese pizza. What a steal for above average pizza. The place is so small that it’s not a great place to dine in at even though there’s a counter with a few chairs. It’s never really busy so your order gets done in 5 – 10 minutes. Another added benefit is that they don’t charge delivery service if you’re ordering from somewhere in Carson. If you ever want cheap pizza that isn’t Costco or Little Caesar’s, definitely make a visit to this nifty, little shop. And if you’re not in the mood for that, they also serve deli subs if that’s your fancy.

Over the weekend my friend and I went over to Pappadoz to try out the pizza since my brother has been talking about how good the food is there. So we got there and the first thing I noticed was that they were hand tossing the dough to make pizzas, That was COOL=) My friend ordered a turkey and avocado sub, and I ordered a Meat Lovers pizza. It was the BESTPIZZAEVER! Their sauce was so good, I could taste small chunks of tomato. The cheese was stringy and had a lot of flavor. The pizza had chunks of meatballs and sausage that were really good. My friend loved her turkey and avocado sub, she liked how they stacked her sub with turkey and avocado. She is from San Pedro and she compared it right away to Busy Bee… I’m glad that this place opened up. Now I have my FAVORITE pizza place and my friend has her new favorite sub place! =D

the 1 dollar friday groupon deal brought me to this place. When i got the cashier told me that they were out of the sandwiches for the groupon deal but i could get anything off the menu that was worth 13 dollars… cool that works. Ended up getting 2 smoothies and a large BBQ Chicken pizza. The smoothies were good and the pizza was delicious. Would definitely come back because there prices are great! The seating is limited but that didnt matter because it was a take out for me… oh and the cashier was nice. Will come back again

Love the pizza! I ordered the family deal and everything was very tasty from the pizza to the yummy garlic bread sticks that are handmade and their spicy wings! Every time I call to place an order they are very helpful. Great customer service!

3.5 stars but rounding up because I want this place to survive. Why? Because its the best pizza in my neighborhood. This is far from my favorite pizza place but I will be back and here’s why: Hand tossed pizza made with a method I hadn’t seen before. put in the oven as a plain cheese pizza and leave it in til the cheese just melts, THEN put on all the toppings plus another layer of cheese. The brush the crust with garlic butter so you want to eat the whole thing and not just the middle. They use real sausage, not the little precooked sausage clusters you get on your chain pizzas. So why only 3.5 stars? Well, I ordered the family meal deal(18″ 2 topping pizza, dozen wings and house salad for $ 21.99) and while I like the flavor the crust, it’s pretty dense but not in that good new york utility slice chewy-like-a-bagel sorta way. Sauce is decent, but seeing all the cans of it behind the counter makes me sad inside. The worst thing though? The chicken wings. These are basically Tyson frozen chicken wings thrown in the oven and tossed with a little extra Dave’s Red Hot sauce(I know, because I saw the extra jars next to the pizza sauce). No crisp, fat isn’t rendered and the flavor is eh. Long story short, like the pizza, glad to have it in my neighborhood, will try a sandwich sometime, but I’m never ordering their wings again.

Yummy food! Found this place through Groupon and it was convenient on the way to a concert. Let me tell you I am not a meatball lover at all. However after I tried their meatball sub, I am such a big fan now! The meatball is nice and flavorful and the marinara sauce is delicious! The bread was toasted as well so that was a plus. You should definitely give it a try. The garlic butter bread stick was delicious. Thank god we ordered a small or we would’ve been in trouble. They give you A LOT for $ 2. By the time we got around to the pizza, we were stuffed. I just couldn’t eat anymore. The pizza was just ok. I have had better. The middle of the pizza was a bit soggy. Awesome food for such a low price. Give it a try! However, I’ve got to say that the restaurant itself is über small and stuffy. I think the best thing to do is to order delivery. From reading older reviews of this place, they have changed their restaurant a bit. There are actually tables and chairs now so you can sit down and eat, but it’s still really small.

This place was just plain bad, and I hate to say that because I think they have the potential to be great. The bread was good, ingredients from what I could eat were tasty, and service was OK. However when we show up the place is a disaster filthy table cloths, messy looking sandwich station, dirty floor, and the lobby area smelled really bad(to be fair that wasn’t entirely their fault there was a homeless lady sitting by the door asking for donations so that’s beyond their control). Me and my wife opt to take our food to go, so we where 20 miles away when we discovered that our order was basically inedible. My wife asked for no peperoncinos, and no mustard. What she got was a gob of mustard and about two peperoncinos for every single bite, so she could not eat her dinner. I had ordered a turkey and salami sandwich I unwrapped it, it smelled so good I took the first bite and it tasted really good at this point my wife is giving me a dirty look for enjoying my sandwich so much, until I got to the second bite, and bit into a ring of plastic there were a bunch of plastic rings all over the sandwich. I guess when they sliced the salami they did not remove the plastic so there was inedible plastic all over my sandwich. At this point I opted to not eat my dinner either, and me and my wife had to trash this meal and hit up a drive thru, very disappointing. The really disappointing part was that from the looks of the place and the reviews on-line I think this place could do better, its a shame.

Fantastic little pizzaria in a little strip mall in Carson. They have the correct formula of great customer service and tasty food, but the location is off. Overall we had a good experience with a delicious pizza, average tasting sandwich(off the charts on the portions) and an o.k. smoothy. Really had to give them a Unilocal for their customer service.

Great food at very affordable prices! We love the meatball, and sausage sandwiches and the Italiano pizza. They are NOT greedy with the toppings. The service is great, very friendly, and fast! They now have tables for seating! This is a fantastic place for pizza and sandwich lovers!!!

This is the first time I came here to try there pizza, my wife’s family comes to this place often. Ordered a half Hawaiian with BBQ chicken other half. It was really good actually, the cheese tasted better than cheap cheese which is usually more oily. The bread was crispy really liked that. But you know what this place totally reminds me of a favorite pizza place I use to go when I was kid called Sicilian Pizza. They had a pizza very similar to this one but they sold Fried chicken with there pizza too. So this pizza is great but it would definitely be good with Fried chicken. Customer Service was really good they stayed a little bit open longer just for us. And they made us a custom pizza they have never made for no one else. Thanks Pappadoz, im sure I will be back sometime soon.
