Pros
great place to come to if your a local to Carson this place has been here for some time. It seems now they’ve added flowers and balloons to their business. Price wise it’s cool they have different options to choose from but overall the prices were fair compared to photo makers at the Carson mall. Considering she didn’t charge me for sitting fee and took a variety of poses without the limit 3 the other places give you. Although her customer service was great she seemed very overwhelmed being the only one working that day or at all! She did however do a great job attending to my kids and getting it all done in a timely manner. The pictures I had done came out fantastic I am so happy and content with them she did an amazing job!
Cons
little bit of a misprint because packages state you get in lets say package 1 a 10 wallets b 5 5×7 c 5 4×6 and 1 8×10 but then she explains no you get to choose only two of lets say abc you don’t get all three chooses. Which I would assume if something is under package 1 you get items abc then you get that whole thing for $ 29.95 and up but she explained no you just get to pick two things you want and for background changes she charged $ 5 plus I was required to pay an additional $ 3.99 for her to retouch which I don’t mind but I felt a little bit ripped off in the sense that she didn’t need to do much to changes backgrounds 1 and second the retouch fee should be something that’s included in the packages and she should consider that so their is not a whole lot of mix up for new and continued customers alike. One last con was their phones she said she would of called failed to let me know they were ready and when I tried to call their phone kept ringing so I just showed up and yes their were ready!
Overall I would recommend to come here good deals fast friendly service

I like this place. when i came in, a lovely lady welcomed me and took a picture right away and asked me to wait only 5 min. Fast service and I like this place

Awesome customer service at this location. more than you can for if you ask me. I was in a rush picking things up for my sons bday and googled balloons. This place came up so I called. talked to a lovely lady and asked if they had any balloons and if so I’m sorta in a rush would it be possible to pick them up. she replied with «sure! what colors and how many.» I told her the colors I needed she told me they would be ready when I get there. I was for sure skeptical cuz I was literally 1 block away. Sure enough I walk in and she’s say her associate is outside ready to put them in my car. I pay, he places them in my car & closes the door for me. Very deserving of five stars. They sell balloons, photography, prints, flowers and party supplies. I will be coming here for balloons and all the above if ever needed. Good job guys!

Great place to get a passport photo. I had my photo taken and printed in less than 10 minutes.

It’s unfortunate that this place is horrible now. When I was in middle school, EVERYONE went to this place for those wallet sized pictures. There is seriously only ONE «photographer», a woman who has the same BORING poses and is so rude. I came last year for my own pictures and she was rude, but I let it go. This time… it isn’t going to slide. This woman also had no patience when I was deciding what package to get (cash only too) and was standing there frustrated as if I was wasting her time.
I took my sister for graduation photos and majority of her pictures are her holding a lame, fake, paper diploma. I’m sorry to those who like those pictures, but that just doesn’t go with me. I think it’s tacky. I had to tell her to stop doing pictures with the stupid diploma.
Anyway, she kept giving my sister an attitude about how to old the «diploma» and kept telling her to fix her body as if my sister could read her mind and knew what she wanted. She barely posed my sister, and I found myself stepping in a lot, moving her hair, moving her sash, etc. This woman paid ABSOLUTELY NO attention to detail! She told me «I’m printing out the proofs and I’m picking the best one» and I asked her, «Don’t I pick the pose I want printed?» and this woman repeats herself as if I’m deaf! I’m not sure if she fully understands english because she gave me the proofs and I chose the picture I wanted (even though I honestly didn’t want to pick any of them because they were bad).
When we picked up our pictures, they printed very pixelated (not sure if that’s the right term to use) and the quality was just bad.
The package we got was 10 wallets, 1 8×10 and 6 4×6 which cost $ 35. $ 35 for horrible pictures (poses AND prints) since there’s no refund, only store credit (and who wants to use their store credit?! NO ONE!)
I do not recommend this place at all. You’re way better off going to a real photo studio with professionals. Heck, I can take the photos myself if someone could lend me a backdrop.

omg! carson one our photo is the best around carson area! i went here for my passport picture. i only waited 10 – 15 mins and i already got my pictures (not bad for a busy day). picture quality is way better that CVS (cvs photo lab sucks) clear and sharp colors. not bad for 4 pictures for 13 bucks. im even planning of bringing my family here for our first family portrait. the gave my a good and reasonable deal. i will strongly recommends Carson 1-​hr photo. simple the best.

two words: TERRIBLE service.
this lady had the nerve to lecture me about respect, time, and business. after she clarified that she would give me my money back, i walked out. just before i got back in my car she called me back into the store. where she lectured me yet AGAIN. this time about me being young, naïve, disrespectful, and so forth.
in the end i got the refund i was asking for. but i realized… she took advantage of my ethnicity in that if i weren’t filipino: she wouldn’t have lectured me TWICE.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. never going here again.

I think the outside sign actually says «Carson 1HR Photo Studio», but it’s listed as Photo Labs in Goog411 so *shrugs*
This place is right across the street from the Carson Car Wash on Orrick and Carson St. and was the go-​to place for groups of middle schoolers to take their myriads of group poses and order like a gazillion wallet-​sized photos. Well I don’t know if it’s still that popular, but I recently went here to get some passport photos done cuz the one I took @ CVS ($ 7) and Costco ($ 4) were horrible. The pricing is kind of steep @ $ 12.99 without tax for just four 2×2 photos with a negative, but it is well worth it if you don’t want your pic to look like a mug shot (T_​T).
The one down side is, it’s CASH ONLY, so thank goodness the girl working let me take the picture first, then come back with the cash for the pick up 1 hour later =)
