It’s a Sunday and the very worst happened. The ‘On/​Off’ button on my HP tower died. No computer, no e-​mail, no internet. This is now hell. So I took my computer to Office Depot in Carson City (775−887−9006) and was helped by a very savvy technician, Josh Mendez. He skillfully took my computer apart, cleaned it, fixed the errant button and provided very nice conversation during the intricate procedure. My computer is now quiet and behaving itself thanks to Josh, who I believe should be a model owing to his very good looks!

Ever been somewhere and thought, «They should just fire everyone and start over from scratch?» If not, all you have to do is go here, and you’ll understand.
Every employee except the old Asian cashier has pissed me off consistently. They’re never friendly, consistently clueless, and they make the shopping experience unpleasant.
I love office supplies. To me, going to an office supplies store is like taking a small child to Toys-​R-​Us and telling them to go crazy. But, this store makes it unpleasant for me.
And, come on, please, someone go in and audit/​inventory this place. Why even have a spot on the shelves for a product if you NEVER CARRY IT!!!
Seriously, you guys make me just want to shop online from another store and never expect a person at a store to serve any purpose.

After shopping around we went into the Office Depot on Fairview, Carson City. Christian Soriano, Technology Specialist helped me chose the perfect monitor for my computer. I brought in online printouts of monitors I was considering. We compared them to what he had in stock. After Christian and I reviewed features I purchased my monitor there for about $ 40.00 less than the advertised price somewhere else. Awesome service.

This Office Depot in Carson City is a joke. The staff is not too helpful. The women working there would rather discuss their personal lives with co workers than actually work, After we bought a decent computer for $ 400.00 and had internet connection problems with it a week later, the manager told us we had to return it to HP for exchange, We then worked on the new unit ourselves, and got it working with the internet… When we had more problems with this same HP PC 6 months later we paid these clowns in Carson $ 100.00 to repair it. Most of their staff seems lazy and almost unresponsive at this Office Depot. Their main goal in life seems to be to get your phone number when you buy a pen from them… The Office Depot in North Reno (by the Del Taco) is a hundred times better store than this clip joint in Carson City. Been in there 6 times, bought a variety of products, and we have yet to have a good experience.
The Wal Mart on Retail Drive in Carson will also treat you better, and has better prices and a far better return policy on electronics.

Manager followed me around the store like I was a thief. Office Depot in Carson City is not a nice and friendly store. Show some support «against bigotry» and don’t shop there.
Noticed one person found my comment funny? Find no humor in «bigots» or those who find humor in that. kind of cowardly really :-)

They were fast no questions no gift cards just return it and gimmie my cash back! Yay! I did have my receipt tho…

Extremely pleased with the copy center at this great store! We have shopped there for a long long time … the employees are always helpful and pleasant to work with. We had an opportunity to work with Lauren at the copy center the other day … She was awesome, went way overboard to help us … A truly great experience! If you need this type of service go there with confidence!!!

Not the cheapest, not the best stocked, not the best laid out, but the best in Carson City. I never go to The Other Place because it’s in the other county and I don’t give Douglas County my sales tax money. I’ll got to Reno or mail order first.
I do find that Office Depot has almost everything I need when I need it, and the couple of times I’ve asked for help it was friendly and competent. Prices are retail price, so don’t go looking for too many discounts here, unless it’s some kind of sale. Checkout gals have been there quite a while and they are super friendly and helpful.
