I was in search of pizza and when I put in pizza it brought me here. But sadly they do not have pizza. So I ordered just regular pasta with marinara sauce and came on by to pick it up. When I walked in I was greeted and was talking to the lady about the area, about being a veteran and trying to find housing. She was giving me a lot of suggestions to contact to see if they know of anyone. Anyways, I got my pasta and headed out. The box was kind of heavy and when I opened it I was shocked that there was soooo much pasta in it. Normally hen you get pasta to go it’s normally maybe 1 – 1.5 cup. But this was probably about a pound of pasta with sauce on the top for $ 13.93. Very cheap. The pasta was pretty good, I didnt want to waste any, so overstuffed myself.

The small staff was nice, despite some reservation confusion. The food was good and served promptly, considering there were(accidentally) 2 large groups, as well as regular customers. The main problem is with Unilocal. The menu shown is not their menu… the staff noted there was an impostor Garibaldis, apparently. Their prices are over double what is shown. Perhaps a lunch menu? They didn’t specify. Unilocal shoukd correct this and post the accurate menu. Dinners ranged in the high teens to lower twentys. For a small boutique size venue, they were solid even on a weeknight. They seem to be notably accomodating to local regulars.

Lasagne and the Ravioli are both delicious! Spaghetti & meatballs, not so great but I’m picky when it comes to meatballs. Artichoke fritters and the Garlic bread are both great! Good selection of wine by the bottle. Atmosphere is romantic but still good for small groups. Open on Sunday’s!

With the choices for Italian in Carson, to me & my husband, this one is the best! Their food is always on point for us and their garlic bread is to die for. I regularly crave it! The staff is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. I love the location and their new seating. It’s so cute and really nice. My only wish is that they would offer a bit more of choices for wine. You could buy a bottle, but sometimes you just want a glass and although they do have house choices, they are just OK. I just know their delicious dishes deserve better pairings. P. S. Their tiramisu is awesome, try it!

Worst service ever. Not only did we have to wait 10 minutes to just get seated but we also had to wait another 30 – 45 just to get our food. And the food was just okay at best. Not to mention when I had complained about the service, the waitress had the nerve to give me attitude and talk to me like I’m a moron. Never coming back here. Take your money elsewhere.

This is one of the top three restaurants in Carson City taking its place along side Adele’s and Glen Eagle. Prices are fair, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is exactly what one would look for in a fine dining restaurant that doesn’t put on airs, yet offers authenticity in food preparation and service. Great for that special evening or a drink and appetizers at the bar. Don’t wait. Go now.

One of our favorites for upscale casual in Carson. Garlic bread is always superb and our son loves the ravioli! Hoping for an updated menu soon, then it’s five stars all the way!

At first I was hesitant to try an Italian resturaunt since I’m so picky but I was pleasantly suprised. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The service and ambiance was also nice. I have a new favorite place to eat when in Carson.

Service took FOREVER and the food was not that great! I would not recommend eating there! We were very disappointed. I have to put a star, I don’t want to but it won’t post otherwise.

Found this hidden treasure purely by accident. My husband and I went there for lunch today and we will be back! Nice location right on the main street, we were welcomed and seated in their charming little restaurant. My husband had coffee and it was delicious and served in an oversized coffee cup… nice. They had several amazing sounding specials but kept to the basics and we ordered fettuccine with meat sauce and spaghetti with meatball. Once I tasted the garlic bread, I knew the food would be wonderful. It was. Decent sized portions for the healthy appetite and some to take home for the smaller appetite. Pleasant, friendly waitress and we felt right at home. Dessert looked tempting but will have to try next time. We were excited to literally stumble across this lovely Italian restaurant… turns out it has only been there 21 years! Highly recommend. I know we will not hesitate to take a long drive and have lunch there again.(Will include two photos, the delicious garlic bread and the fettuccine with meat sauce.)

READTHISBEFORE! It’s a $ 20 dish that nothing is fresh!!! Garlic powder, dried basil, caned tomato sauce and it’s taste like a microwaved dish! And I am not talking about the service-we found a piece of bacon in one of our vegetarian dish and guess what!!! They don’t want to cancel the dish and forced us to pay! Can you believe!!!

Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. I had one of the 5 specials and it was veal topped with mushrooms and lobster and a light sauce. The serving sizes were perfect. We had garlic bread as a started and it was melt in your month good. My hubby had the swordfish and my Uncle had another special called the Pan Fry which was all types of seafood. Excellent meal and hats off to the chef simply amazing.

An excellent place for some good Italian food. If your sick of the chains like Olive Garden stop in here and have a nice home cooked meal. Great service and atmosphere. Prices are a little higher than what probably carson people like but if you get good food and service which you do I do not mind paying for a fantastic meal. I had the Chicken Parm and Bruchetta and it was some of best I have had. This is from a Chicagoan who knows good food.

On previous visits over the past 10 years I would rate this a 5. Haven’t been in a couple years, and we were disappointed. First, service was exceptional, 5 star. Overall the meal was mediocre. First, the drinks were weak(not much alcohol) and I’m not a drinker. Appetizers, mushrooms and artichoke fritters were excellent, calamari — flavorless, garlic bread — I remember it much better. Soup very good. Veal marsalla, meat a little tough; marinara sauce had too much heat; other entrees OK. Tiramisous– In previous visits it was like non other I had ever tasted — this time, lacked flavor and was very disappointing. Will we come back, probably not, especially when it is a 45 minute drive from Lake Tahoe.

Exceptional entrees, great dining experience both lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and we come here regularly. I think it’s called the gambini martini appetizer with blackened shrimp in gazpacho… delish! Always great specials done in an unusual way… had my b-day here too!

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I had vegetables with pasta of the day. There were NINE different types of vegetables, each prepared a unique and different way. Yum! My wife had a spinach salad with cajun shrimp. It was quite a complex salad with many unexpected ingredients. She loved it.

We had a Christmas lunch for the folks in our office(about 25) here. It was OUTSTANDING! The service was incredible and all the food was absolutely on point. The garlic-bread, as everyone in this town knows, is to die for and I always have to restrain myself to save room for the other good stuff. Our lunch went off perfectly and we had a wonderful time!

My husband and I went tonight. It wasn’t the experience we expected. To start, I ordered a «sex on the beach» but, they didn’t have the schnapps despite, the full bar. So, both my husband and I ordered a coke. Our server brought 1 glass(I guess to share). A salad came with my entrée and I asked for ranch instead of the Italian, I was given a salad with Italian dressing. I was told they were out of ranch but, he managed to find some. We ordered another order of garlic bread and it never came. My husband was pleased with his meal but, I ordered a chicken dish and It was to sweet. We paid our bill and won’t be back. We regretted not going to glen eagles instead P. s. Shawn was or server
