really was disappointed that they didn’t have hand scooped ice cream! I was told that they wouldn’t have any until summer, so I had to get the premade ice cream bars that were the pricey ones! what a plan they have! no prepped popcorn either! not a good day to stop here!

Great old fashion style candy. All made there. Nice stopping point on the way to Virginia City to enjoy more local mining history. Interesting Taffy combinations, like Jabanero and they also carried Bacon infused Milk Chocolate! That was different, but was definitely something to try!

I was driving by on our way to Virginia City with my wife and 2 boys and there was this huge sign that said«CHOCOLATE», so how could we just pass it? When we entered, the woman was extremely kind to us. We were offered samples and she even gave us historical information about the town. We ordered a variety of chocolate and they were stupendous, especially the dark, almond, caramel! I also had the milk chocolate almond bar and the chocolate coconut. I was hooked. So we drove the Virginia City, and on the way home, we stopped in AGAIN! This time my boys had the chocolate dipped ice cream, and I had the root bear float. It was delicious. The same woman was happy to see us the same day. I hope we can return!

THISPLACEISAMAZING! They literally are a sweet lovers heaven. My fiancé and I bought some chocolates and some salt water taffy. DELICIOUS! :) this place is definitely one of the best chocolate/candy stores I’ve ever been to. The customer service we received was amazing. If you get a chance to come here I highly recommend you to!

Loved this place. They actually make most of their own candies which really surprised me. Tons of handmade chocolate treats, brittles, taffy, and etc. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They even had a good selection of sugar free treats if you have to watch your sugar. If you are looking for a place with tons of bulk factory made name brand candies(nothing wrong with that) this isn’t the place for you. They even had some ice cream and frozen treats, but I didn’t try any so I can’t comment other than it looked good.

If you love chocolate, do not drive past this place! So many goodies located inside this store! Fudge, taffy, peanut brittle, sea foam candy. Really just so much to choose from. Our very favorite item and the reason for repeated visits when we are in the area is the chocolate malted milk balls. Delicious and the chocolate is so thick and so good! I also picked up chocolate«hot wheels» cars for my grandson and a bacon chocolate bar for my brother.

This is LONG over due. I really need to get better at my Unilocaling! :) I don’t know where to start. My husband and I stopped inside on our way to Yosemite and the woman working was the sweetest! She let me sample whatever taffy I wanted(which was a lot) and I got to sample the fudge, OMG! The fudge was delicious. There were also samples of jalapeño peanut brittle. Seriously?! Jalapeño peanut brittle ??? I was sold! After getting a large bag filled with tons of taffy(PB&J was my favorite), 3 different kinds of fudge, and jalapeño peanut brittle; I found it… a chocolate bacon candy bar! I LOVEE bacon and I love chocolate, so I grabbed one of those(AMAZING!) The chocolate was good and there were actual pieces of bacon in there. Not like the bars I’ve seen in chain stores that claim to have bacon. The great thing about this place… you cab order online! If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend this place.

A few minutes outside of Virginia City on the way back to Las Vegas we saw this stand alone building and decided to stop. I walked in, a quick glance around, and I was instantly glad I stopped. I think I uttered the words«I’m home». The lady that worked there was very helpful and answered my various«touristy» questions with a smile. I told her I wanted to pick up some things for my coworkers so she gave me some ideas on what to do, handed me a bag and I got busy. Walking around the giant bins of handmade saltwater taffy grabbing handfuls of all different flavors. They have every flavor you can think of from Rocky Road to Pina Colada and everything else in-between. I purchased some chocolate turtles too. I only tasted the taffy(so far) and every piece has been wonderful. She even gave me several smaller bags so I could fill them at home to hand out to my friends at work. I certainly appreciated her friendly nature and If I’m ever in the area I would definitely go back.

My kids have been bugging me for 15 years to stop at this place when going through Carson City. I finally stopped and was a little disappointed. The have a great selection but over priced. We picked up different chocolates, fudge, and chocolate covered chips. The chocolates and fudge were just ok. I highly recommend the chocolates covered chips.

CHOCOLATE?!? A well executed U-turn with screeching tires, and we found ourselves smack dab in front of this place. Not surprising when you have me in the car. We walked in the door only to be greeted by a charming lady bearing free samples of fudge or brittle. Jalapeño(yep, green) fudge. Coconut brittle. White chocolate with walnut fudge. Strange offerings, so I only sampled the white one. Hmmm good. Before us, a large store. Counters, bins, shelves, filled with God’s REAL gift to women… chocolate and candy. A bazillion types of taffy, chocolates, nut brittles, even a large choice of sugar free options. And some cute gift items of the non-edible type, too. In the far corner, you could find a limited selection of ice creams. Good idea for a hot dry climate and little prospectors. You will find this diabetics nightmare at the junction of the highway leading to quaint Virginia City. Sorry I cannot give them higher than 3 stars, but we didn’t buy anything today(we already had fudge sitting in our trunk). But it sure smelled good, and looked good, and they made us feel really welcome.

Wonderful fudge, chocolates, «sponge» candy(aka honeycomb) and great atmosphere. The delicious smell of chocolate wakes up your taste buds as soon as you walk through the door. Give them a try and I know you’ll drive away a happy camper.

Stopped by here on the way to Virginia City from Carson City… what a wonderful place! They had chocolates, taffy, all sorts of candy. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it! The chocolates I bought were fresh and scrumptious! The lady who works there was super friendly too! A+++++++
