Stopped by here around 6:30 to get some delicious Cinnabon for my kids. Walked into an empty lobby and no one at front to take my order. I shouted hello a couple of times but still no one. I waited about 4 more minutes a short Hispanic girl came out from the back. She looked at me and put on her gloves and said someone will me with me shortly and walked away to the back again. Never saw her again.

DONOTSTOPATTHISLOCATION. The food is a huge disappointment. The employees are extremely slow. The bread is God only knows how old, it’s hard enough to hit someone with. They don’t seem to understand portion sizes when it comes to the meat, you almost can’t find it on the sandwich. I love Schlotzsky’s food, they make one of the best sandwiches around. But this location is disgusting. There was actual a long hair on the bottom of my sandwich when I unwrapped it. Unforgiveable. Trust me, keep driving pass this location. There is another Schlotzsky’s at Marsh and Beltline in Addison that has much better service and food. I’ve come to realize why this location never has a line in the drive thru or any cars in the parking lot.

If you’re a zombie fan, this is the place for you. It’s like a freakin’ zombie theme park. I stood at the counter for about three or four minutes before I found a little bell on the counter. The only other person in the restaurant was a guy in a Santa suit and shades who waved when I came in. I rang the bell and heard someone in the back say«Aw, man. Go find out what they want.» Finally, some kid walked up to the register and mumbled something inaudible and then stared at me. I smiled and said«hey, how ya doin’?» And he just continued to stare. I ordered a sandwich and he rang me up without a word. He slid me a table flag and then turned and walked into the back. Five minutes later, he strolled out with my sandwich and I smiled and said«thanks» and he plopped my plate on the table without so much as a grunt or other acknowledgement and then turned and disappeared back into the dark recesses of the kitchen. The guy in the Santa suit with the shades is still watching me as I type this. I’ll bet I’m not coming back.

Okay so it was not a fluke! We have been back to this location twice since it was rehabbed over the summer and each time have been greeted by Daniel who was courteous, patient with kids ordering and highly attentive. I don’t know if ownership and/or management changed, but it is cleaner, friendlier and busier(without long waits that we’re experiencing but we tend to go for dinner), so I guess the word is getting around. It’s not gourmet but we get what we ask for and receive what we expected fast, hot and fresh!

Our sandwiches were perfect and the guy at the counter was friendly. Checked after he had served to see if everything tasted good. Wow!

Service was super fast today. I love Schlotzsky’s! Does anyone else remember when this location was in the same shopping center, but next to Nickelmania?

My husband went here to pick up lunch on Sunday, the door was open, & the hours said they were open. He walked in and waited at the front. Someone came up from the back, stared at him then turned around and went back to the rear of the restaurant…(Very scary movie) in the meantime another customer had arrived and said he was creeped out by the whole situation and left, he was followed by my husband… We went to jimmi johns instead… It was good.

I love Schlotzsky’s but this location is weak. Got my order wrong — asked for no tomato got tomato and no olives instead. Had to ask to get access to a bottle of hot sauce. Interior lighting is inadequate and the place feels like a cave. I personally don’t like the Cinnabon being combined here… The cinnamon smell overpowers the glorious fresh-baked sourdough aroma that had always made Schlotzsky’s so appetizing. Go elsewhere to get your Schlotzsky’s fix.

My favorite place to get a great sandwich. Every time I come here I always get the medium sized Original Sandwich which is pretty big. The sourdough bread they use on the sandwich is one of the best. I highly recommend this place!

If I could give-2 stars I would… how do u sell cinnabons but are out of pecans for a week straight? This store sucks! Oh and the kid behind the register this time didn’t help with his poor attitude. But hey… the manager/franchise owner has that same crap attitude. Oh well, next!

This place gets two stars because of lousy service. I usually walk in but this morning I ordered at the drive through. I thought it would be more convenient. I was wrong. The manager/owner who is always there seemed surprised that someone would want to order a Cinnabon roll through the drive through. The horror! He also totally ignored me when I commented that the menu at the drive up doesn’t have any Cinnabon selections except a small sign attached. I don’t get Cinnabon often so a menu would have been helpful. So I placed my order but I still had to walk in to get it. While I was waiting in my car outside, an employee stepped out to smoke. That’s f*cking disgusting! Now I’m imagining this guy making food after smoking. I guess the desire to smoke is more important than being sanitary. I won’t even order food if the person behind the counter smells like cigarettes. Schlotsky’s and Cinnabon are great but this location needs to learn the art of great customer service. This location deserves to fail if the manager doesn’t learn to treat customers better.

This is like a remodeled Schlotzsky’s, and it’s really nice! I love how they now combine the Cinnabon with it, and you know those are to die for. Schlotzsky’s has never disappointed me and the food is amazing. AMAZING! These are probably my favorite sandwhiches anyway.. . Just writing this review is inspiring me to eat there tonight. :-) The service is friendly, but I can’t say the fastest for a sandwhich spot. It was completely empty when I went up there last time, and my sandwhich(veggie, mind you) took a good 5 minute or more to make. Were they sowing the oats or something? What’s going on back there? A lot of talk, that’s for sure.. . Regardless, if you come here, ALWAYS get some of their hot sauce. It has a very unique flavor and it’s incredible.
