Lumber Liquidators

My parents decided to use Lumber Liquidators to redo their stairs recently. This has been the WORST customer service I have heard of in a long, long time. First, only one man showed up to do a job that was absolutely a job for 2+ men. This obviously made the job take longer than was necessary, but we were fine with that as long as the work got done well. We were told that we could not use the bottom 5 stairs for several days — all bathrooms and bedrooms are upstairs, so this was obviously not going to work. You physically can’t get upstairs without using those last 5 stairs. We asked that they take the stairs and do the staining necessary outside of the house so that we could continue to use the stairs, and they (very) reluctantly agreed. We were advised they would give us a call back when the stairs were ready (by Casey)…it has been TWO WEEKS and nobody has heard from these people. This is a pre-​paid job, which is unbelievable. TWO WEEKS have gone by without any word… completely being ignored for a job that was near $ 5,000. I will tell absolutely everybody to never work with this branch in Carrollton because of this service. It is completely disrespectful to ignore customers like this and not complete your promises and/​or contracts.

We just bought solid wood flooring from Chris at this Carrollton location. He has been amazing throughout this deal. His customer service is as good as it gets! Most importantly, though, he knows what he’s talking about!

I am on my 3^rd order from Lumber Liquidators. I needed to make some changes throughout the house so I am doing my flooring in stages. I have been working with Jaime and Sam and they have been nothing but courteous and patient with me. I just got my first house so I am very nervous about spending more than I can afford. They didn’t push me into anything and let me go home with a ton of samples. I settled on solid hand-​scraped Morning Star Bamboo. It was a bit more then I wanted to pay but was very durable and I wanted to get something that would last. So far its looking amazing. I never realized how much dust would build up in carpet and how gross it is. I strongly recommend this location. I did go to the one in Plano and got no where near the same treatment.

So I decided to purchase laminate wood flooring from Lumber Liquidators in Carrollton, TX. I researched their website and located a pattern that I liked at this location, where it showed to be in stock. Upon arriving at the location, they did not have it in stock. Upon calling the Ft. Worth location it was discovered that they did have it, but most boxes in stock were damaged. The representative that helped us was not friendly at all, and did not seem to enjoy his job whatsoever. Stricken by inventory issues and bad customer service, they have definitely lost a customer here. Will not be back.
