I love this specific Dicky’s. It is consistently good, really good. They’re great about accommodating requests(extra lean, extra sauce, whatevs). The one time *one* that the food wasn’t up to standard, their customer service far exceeded my expectations. Solid five star.

Went here to pick up lunch for managers. young girl at the front has a MAJOR attitude. I tried handing her a list of orders about 6 she didnt take the list instead told me just«read them to her». Then when i asked about a second indiviual order she just looked at me and said ORDERONE. ORDERTWO. I walked out annoyed. Come to find out when i got back with the orders 4 out of 6 were wrong even though the receipt had all the right orders. if you go to dickies you know the carry out register is right next to the order counter. the guys making the sandwhiches were laughing and joking around. I WILLNEVERCOMEBACKTOTHISPLACENORWILL I ORDERTAKEOUTFORCOWORKERSHEREEVERAGAIN. Do yourself a favor and go to a different place that doesnt have the young girl in the front with the MAJORATTITUDEPROBLEM! This place needs customer service skills.

I’m not a fan of their BBQ but… they have a awesome Chicken Caesar Salad and an even better Southwest Chicken Salad(that’s not listed on the menu) :-) also be aware that the drive thru prices are cheaper than dining in for some odd reason.

The food here is decently good, although nothing compared to real Texas BBQ like Hard 8BBQ. Still, their chicken BBQ sandwiches are pretty good. Their beef brisket is also pretty good, although it can be a little fatty. Their BBQ sauce is also good, but it would be better if they served it on the table in bottles. I found myself asking for extra sauce on several occasions. It would also be better if they had a variety of sauces to try. One of my favorite BBQ places in New Orleans has three different sauces on the table, and the meat at that NO place is delicious. Their sides at Dickey’s are not too fresh or much to speak of, but if you are hungry for a quick lunch with some semblance of barbecue, then it’s worth stopping by this place at least once.

I went through the drive thru today and I got a very tasty sandwich and some VERY burned onion rings. I was very disjointed when I got back to my office and opened the sack.

Let’s remember that this is a chain BBQ and I did not expect much since it is not one of my favorite places to hit. It’s eating Taco Bell. I ordered their BBQ Brisket and Smoked Sausage with side order of cole slaw and green salad topped with their bbq sauce. Brisket was moist and tender; obviously not the top quality but really good. Smoked Sausage was awesome; not to salty and just enough spice and moisture. I personally enjoyed it a LOT. I sure do like Hard Eight or Smoked House but if I was stuck with no other choices then I’m down for Dickey’s.

For chain BBQ, Dickie’s is as good as it gets. This location is small, but always clean, quick service and great food. Very consistent. Easy parking out front and have never had a problem here. Great BBQ.

Bland, watery sauce, slim choice of side items. Albeit the price was fair. No compensation for the food quality :-(

It’s a chain so once you’ve had it in one location, you’ve had em all. It’s not real BBQ, period. This time I tried the half chicken special with 2 sides for around $ 8. They didn’t have the onion curlers so I settled for mashed potatoes and baked beans. I’m pretty sure they are not putting smoke on the chicken at all. It tasted roasted or oven baked, not like it’d been que’ing all morning. That’s the other thing too — they could have stood to cook the chicken a little longer. I ended up not even tasting the baked beans. The mashed potatoes were good. I ate all of them. I don’t think they were box potatoes. Am I running back to Dickey’s? No. But if the lunch crew wants to give it a whirl, I’ll go — but only once a quarter. This place is located in an area where there are lots of offices and warehouses, but few dining choices within the immediate vicinity. So there was a decent lunch crowd. That being said, the quickness of service was great. The parking lot is tight — swing around back for more spaces.

I love Barbecue. Absolutely LOOOOOVE it!!! Just ask my ever growing belly. It’s true. He’ll tell ya. He’ll say«This dude love barbecue». We have a Dickies here in MN and I have been extremely hesitant to try it. For the most part we have very disappointing BBQ here and a chain store like this makes me nervous. So, recently I was in Tex-ass for a business trip and we were fed Dickies for lunch twice. Based on that here is my take; First day we had Brisket — I must admit it was very good. Especially for delivered and set out for 15+ minutes getting cold while we were in meetings. Turkey — Sliced as if it were Brisket and had decent flavor Salad — Not bad but, hey, it’s salad. Apple cobbler — Eh, generic looking and tasting. Second day we had Fajitas — WHAT??? Fajitas from a BBQ joint. I repeat, FAJITASFROM A BBQJOINT! Failure, big time. Not because of flavor(which was rather uninspired) but because IT’S A BBQJOINT! So, Dickies. Stay with the BBQ, work on it. You have a good start but do the work and perfect it. By the by, the BBQ sauce is pretty good. Sadly, I really think Famous Daves has it right with the sauce(his ribs are hit and miss but the sauce is spot on). Damnski, now I want rib tips…

WAIT… You’re from Texas and you go to Dickey’s??? You should be ashamed of yourself! There is so much better BBQ around town… why do you have to go to a place with a familiar name? Their sauce is lame and so is the flavor of their meat. I avoid it like the plague.

I stopped by for something quick to eat before going back to work and got some Ribs. I was very disappointed and I’m still kicking myself for not going a few extra miles down the road to the Dickey’s on Forest Ln. and Josey — the ribs are so much better there. I thought this would be a time-saver by going somewhere a bit closer to work, but the ribs had zero flavor. I don’t like BBQ sauce on my meat — I want to taste everything the meat has to offer. The ribs at this location are devoid of flavor and I don’t know if they’re over-steamed or what the problem is. I like being able to easily get the meat off the bone, but when you put the rib to your mouth and the meat falls off before you can get to it — something is wrong… like they’re feeding these little piggies polonium or something. The folks here were nice, but the food was very poor quality. The various franchised locations are DIFFERENT. The best one I’ve been to is at 2919 Forest Lane near Josey… to date, the best ribs I’ve ever had have been at the other location.

Had a rib plate. All I can say is they fell off the bone, which is not true BBQ. Ribs should easily be bitten off the bone but the meat should not just fall off it and it should have a pink smoke ring. These ribs were boiled or steamed because they were absolutely tasteless until you put sauce on them. Bad, bad, excuse for BBQ.

Great service! Get here early for lunch, crowd gets pretty big. Make sure you try the hot BBQ sauce.
