Stopped in for UWG game, it’s my step daughters first year there, and was very happy. What gem in the middle of nowhere. The menu is great and the price was right. I had the wings and the French dip, very good. We also tried the friend mushrooms and the fried mac an cheese bits, with jalapeños and bacon… those were great. Our arty of nine was all 100% impressed. Go here!

If you’re on a diet this is not the place for you! There food is very good but after leaving there I felt a little guilty. My friend and I shared the BBQBO fries and they were great! The mixture of everything was a great combination I would’ve never thought to try on my own! I then got a Shroomin’ bacon Swiss burger and a side Caesars salad. The fries and the salad were so good and such a big portion that I couldn’t even get to the burger, I was so full! I did push and tried a few bites because I couldn’t help myself and it was pretty good I usually like mushrooms but they taste a bit soggy, that was the burgers only downfall. Besides the mushrooms everything else was great. Our server was cool and very tentative! I do plan to visit again!

Good draft choices, nice music, and gold fever sauce that I could eat on my biscuits for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and chicken fingers for dinner. What more could you ask for?

Burgers are quite good, but service is terrible and sloooooowwwww. Do not go on your lunch hour as you will NOT make it out in time. This place has potential, but it’s a shame that, after an entire year, they still have not figured out how to staff the place or run it efficiently. I am updating this review and adding a star. I have been back twice since, and the service is better. The Walker Texas Ranger is still the best burger in town. Start making homemade fries and onion rings instead of frozen, and you have a winning combination!

Things to know. They make their own tortilla chips. So good. I could just eat their chips. Their fries are nothing to write home about.(Sorry, could do better.) The Porker is delicious. I like the BLT salad. Especially the description on the menu that says«more bacon than necessary». I like their cheese dip but with the jalapenos in it. Fried mac and cheese balls — I think everyone should have these once — they are a novelty! There is a waitress who has blonde hair. She is amazing. Her face just is friendly. You will know her immediately by that description. I bet she gets a lot of tips. If not, she should.(I am not her. I just think she’s great!)

I am surprised I am the first to review… but onto the review! 302 South street has had a few closings and grand reopenings over the last few years, but the food, atmosphere and décor have not changed much. Wednesdays are wing night, the chicken salad sandwich is my personal favorite, served on buttery Texas toast with just the right amount of grease. This place was pretty much the place to go to get the college atmosphere. It was the first place I went for orientation before I started college, I remember all the sports jerseys, fraternity and sorority shirts and logos everywhere. Now that they have reopened, the decorations are a little more simplistic and there aren’t many signs inside that there is a college right down the road. For anyone who went to college at west Georgia, you know that the experience at 302 was just as important as the food. As for the food pretty typical bar type food, but it is still very good. Don’t sit this one out!
