This is a cool little playground a little ways off the Carpinteria State Beach, back against the train track. It has a Native American theme to it and presumably some educational value, but that was mostly lost on the kids climbing in and on the teepees and canoes. There are also some slides, including an excellent conveyor belt-like slide, which looked like a ton of fun. One of the coolest features of the playground is that there’s a little ramp up to a bridge over the entrance, so kids can literally run around in circles without getting bored. There’s a decent amount of seating for parents, and if you get lucky enough to have the train stop at the Carpinteria Station while you’re there, everyone gets a nice look at the train while it’s stopped.
