Delicious. Recommend the quesadillas with huitlacoche and Flor de calabaza. Almost as good as the ones sold at Maxwell Street Market. Limited space/seating

Super spot! The salsa with the chile arbol is SERIOUSLYHOT! Everything is home made and delicious. I have had chicken quesadillas and steak tacos. Very authentic and real food. It’s my go to place. Very sweet and friendly, extremely clean and bright. Nice addition to the area.

Stopped in for lunch, ordered 1 chicken taco 1 chorizo taco and 2 steak tacos. The steak tacos were very good the chicken taco was average and I don’t know what I got with the chorizo taco because there was only potatoes in it. I tried all of the sauces and they were all good, my only beef is that they didn’t have any containers for them so that you could take samples to your table to try them. I honestly would have only given two stars except the horchata was delicious. And what kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t have pastore tacos. My experience wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good, I will give it one more try later down the road.

Love this place! The tortillas are fresh and tasty, and the fillings are amazing. My personal fave is cochinita pibil, but the ropa vieja, huitlacoche, pierna, rajas, and tinga de res are all amazing. Salsas are fantastic, but beware. The cacahuate and chile de arbol are extremely spicy; very flavorful, but spicy. Eat here now!

Good food. Service is okay. Don’t bring out someone else food first then have the other person waiting 5 minutes. The food will get cold.

My husband and I went last night and I really wasn’t impressed. We each had tacos(pork, chicken and beef). The girl who took our order was very nice, but screwed our order up. I guess I need to brush up on my Spanish. We told her no cilantro on any of our tacos and, of course, there was cilantro on all of our tacos. You can’t brush that off easily either. I ordered ONE order of chips and salsa with a side of Guacamole and we got two(and paid for two orders.) The tacos didn’t have much taste in my opinion. Maybe their other food is better? The place was packed though so maybe its just me who didn’t like the food? Either way, I won’t be back.

The food was good, just a bit on the pricey side for a taco place, but not by much more than most of the of the other, similar places in the area. The only thing, and i know this might seem sort of petty, is that i feel for about $ 10 bucks a plate for a taco dinner i should get a drink with my meal. The drinks are separate. I love Mexican food and would eat here again, this is one of many good Mexican restaurants in the area.

So thankful I found this gem today. New to the area and always hoping to find that good local Mexican place. This was not good. It was excellent. I wanted to try all of the filling choices because they all sounded amazing and authentic. They don’t have salad but they gladly helped me customize a burro(sans tortilla) for my wife. I ordered her the pull pork. It was spicy for her but she gladly met the challenge because it was so tasty. I ordered an asada and a cochinita pibil. Both fantastic. The hot salsa was very hot but very flavorful. I have a high threshold and this stuff was good and hot! But it took the asada to a whole new level! Poblano side was a nice change of pace. They have some other ones besides the standard beans and rice. Kids said the quecas were«yum cheesy». Chips and guacamole were fresh and well executed. Can’t wait to go back and try some more!

I’m impressed, dudes. First and foremost, as you’ve likely heard, the tortillas are top-tier, homemade, with corn masa delivered daily. Second, the fillings — I’ve tried the roasted poblano [fave], mushroom, and beans/cheese(deep in the veg game over here, amigos) — were ample and delicious. Loads of options. Next visit, I’m dying to try the huitlacoche(«corn smut» [I prefer«huitlacoche,» personally]). They’ll toss a side of guacamole(fantastic and fresh) in a cup for $ 0.75; a total deal. Salsas are fresh as hell and numerous. Third, m’lady and I’d just been discussing our love of alfajores and lamenting that we hadn’t seen any since moving to the area. Behold, upon the counter, returning our gaze, alfajores in two varieties(with and without powdered sugar). I’m pulling back on the yoke of my usual superlative-laden review and just being real level and honest, here: Visit, eat, enjoy. Place is cheap, top-tier, and the employees are super friendly and accommodating.

Really good handmade tortillas and fresh ingredients. They have a toppings bar with pickled habaneros, hot salsa, really hot salsa, and pico de gallo. Be nice if they had margaritas, but you cannot beat the price to go with the quality of the food. Highly recommend and a great place for lunch.

Came here yesterday and ordered a steak and cheese quesadilla, and it certainly exceeded my expectations! Will be returning this week to try some more stuff on the menu, I guess they recently opened, but as of now, I am a big fan!

Delicious hand made tortillas and you can try as many as 18 choices of meat or veggies on the quesadillas, tacos, burros, burritos and platillos! The salsa bar is the best!

Delicious quecas! Handmade tortillas, a variety of fillings(meats or veggies), including a salsa bar(varying levels of hotness) to add some spice, all for $ 4. Made to order guacamole and chips = LOVE Like my moms cooking(yes, that serious!).

Loved it! Fresh made tortilla, great salsas and very courteous service. I had the chicken in the chipotle sauce – very tasty. Loved the salsas. My 18-month only had a cheese and bean«mini-queca» and devoured it. I will go back soon – can’t beat the price for a fresh, tasty bite!

A «quecas» is like a quesadilla. It’s a large, homemade oval corn tortilla filled with your choice of toppings and cheese for about $ 4. It’s a good deal. They’ll also do separate toppings on each half of your quecas. We tried the pork loin, chicken, steak, and beans. I didn’t care for the pork or chicken, but the steak and beans were very good. They also have a salsa bar w/2 hot and 2 medium salsas, onions, pico, lettuce, and sour cream. The quecas are a great deal but won’t satisfy an American appetite that’s used to Chipotle portions. However, you can order 2 quecas for $ 8 and have more than enough food. The service was polite and prompt, and there are probably 10 tables or so to dine in. Also a good place to order to go. They also have burritos, tortas, and tacos. All in all, it’s a great value w/a homemade taste!

Fun concept, great food, awesome prices. Get a quesadilla! Home-made, corn tortilla grilled to order with your choice of meat. The rest is up to you at the salsa bar. Big portion. Definitely a meal, and for under $ 4!
