Palm Beach Tan

First they are extremely expensive. They are clean which is why they get 2 stars. But I feel as if it’s somewhat of a racket. You can accumulate $$ in your account unbeknownst to me. Which you think ok that’s good to use for spray tans lotions whatever. Well they don’t tell you about this accumulation of $$. then they ask you if you want to buy a package of this or that and you think ok that’s a good deal yes I will. Then you spend the EXTRA $$ out of your pocket because they failed to tell you you could use your in store «credit» per-​say. Then they forget to tell you that your spray tans expire after 45 days. Yep. So you decide you want to use them for the intended wedding you bought them for in the future. And yep you guessed it you can’t. But you bet your a** they offer you another package to purchase AND this time ask you if you want to use your «banked» dollars! Because you are less than thrilled with your discovery of the expiration date you were NEVER told about. Ok I’m done. Save yourself the trouble and go up the street.

The old executive tans at this location was WAY better! I have no freckles whatsoever, but after purchasing a spray tan here I was covered from head to toe with a «freckled» tan.

I used to go to Executive Tans for a very long time and loved it. No high pressure — clean facility — nice staff… Was disappointed to see they’d sold the business.
I went into this location and was told a month long «unlimited» would be l09.00. I go back 3 days later and am told, «Oh, you can have a package for $ 59.00 since you won’t be spray tanning.» BUT you will be bounced down to a lower a level when your 30 days is up unless you work out a deal with the manager.
I opted for the 30 day unlimited. I was immediately given the high pressure sales pitch to buy pricey lotions… and again when I came back the next day… I did sign a waiver stating I wouldn’t tan more than once a day. LITTLE did I know… I’d tanned at l pm one day — returned at l0 am the next day… AND TURNED AWAY since it hadn’t been 24 hrs. I was locked out of the system.
I was then told… if I didn’t want to continue this plan — I would have to let them know on the 25^th of the month as they would automatically charge me for the following month if I didn’t tell them. Like I don’t have enough to keep track of in my life — and now I have to keep track of renewing a 30 day package at the risk of finding this on my credit card without my knowledge. Ok.
The tan itself… was fine. Why the girl only gave me 9 minutes the first day instead of l0 is another subject. She was pasty as a ghost and I’d think as a REP of this group — they’d require these girls get some COLOR.
When my 30 days is up… I will definitely not be back. They drove me out of this place by their rules/​regulations/​high pressure sales tactics and I have no problem going to
L A Tan. Very disappointed in this —
I suggest they get a handle on those «packages» and not change their rules as they go depending on what day it is. Very unprofessional.

I am always pretty worried about getting spray tans done, but after I went to palm beach and picked out a custom shade with a bronzer I was so pleased with the results. I have gotten spray tans from other places and it has come out blotchy, or too dark/​orange or just not to my liking; but palm beach is by far the best place tanning salon I have been to. The staff is so awesome and answer every question I have. The beds all work and are clean! I recommend trying a spray tan for sure!

I can’t say one negative thing about this salon. I actually look forward to coming in because everyone is always so pleasant. Emily and Lindsay are an amazing part of the palm beach staff, they are also so knowledgeable about not only the lotions but the beds as well. Just because it changed owners… don’t think twice it’s even better now. And after talking to the staff things are going to continue to change to improve our tanning needs. Hands down love this place!
