Love the Tacos al Pastor. The food here is delicious, a little bit pricey for the fast-foodie atmosphere, but the food definitely makes up for it. I will be back!

Best steak tacos i have had in a very long time. the steak was flavorful and i could taste the grill flavor in the steak… most places i taste more grease than steak. kudos to the cook who made our food. also kudos to blanca the cashier and the gentleman who was our server he really went the extra mile. i will indeed be back in the future

One of the best«fast food» restaurants to grace our area in a while. I’ve frequented this location dozens of times, I have tried a plethora of menu items, and each is more delicious than the last. The food is fresh, the flavor is authentic, and the portion sizes are generous. The service is impeccable, the employees are always very polite and courteous. Since they do cook as food is ordered, the drive through isn’t a very fast option, but it’s a nice alternative to going inside. I definitely recommend checking out this gem!

Not a fan. I thought the chips were awful, and the«salsa» was worse. Like tomato sauce with no actual chopped tomatoes, and barely any seasoning. Burrito was the most uninteresting and tasteless(other than salt) that I have ever had. Barely any cheese, beans or lettuce. Only reason it was close to passable was we had asked for tomatoes and onion to be added. Other than salt, that was about the only flavor to be found. Much better out there at this price point in my opinion, so I will not try again. Too bad — had high hopes based on all the great reviews.

Stop… The… PRESSES!!! I cannot believe food this good comes at this price. Let me explain something to you. I’m a HUGE fan of many Mexican places around the west burns as well as in the city. Burrito Parilla just de throned my favorite go to places. It’s a 20 – 25 min drive and I’m now ready and willing to ignore my favorite taco place that is 2 blocks away. Sorry, I DON’T CARE!!! Burrito Parilla steak taco just blew my d! ick off and laughed in my face!!! The steak taco. This isn’t some cheap cut of steak. This is steak you would be proud to serve your family to celebrate a special occasion! Served with cilantro and onions, they do it up right with grilled red onions and the freshest cilantro I’ve ever had! The ground beef is seasoned to perfection! The red sauce has a nice hint of garlic that rings through and changes the way you think of red salsa! The flan is freakin HUUUGE!!! My wife said it was amazing… solidly in the top 3 flan’s she has ever had! The horchata!!! This lands firmly in the top 2 horchatas of all time in my experience and I’ve had PLENTY! NOTEVENKIDDING!!! I kept seeing many people drinking a yellow drink and I asked what it was and they said fresh pineapple juice and coconut… I immediately got up and went and got a cup of it. I’m seriously contemplating coming back, sitting on the patio and smuggling in my own rum cuz this would the THEPERFECT cocktail if it want also already THEPERFECT drink for any meal at any time of day! It was delicious! I ordered the ground beef burrito suizo. It is huge. The red sauce on top has a great tomato flavor and a nice little kick to go with it. After eating tacos at Cilantro in Elmhurst and then downing 3 more here and eating half the burrito I was stuffed! I can’t wait to come back, the food is freaking amazing and it’s soooo affordable!!! I was refilling my drink with the pineapple concoction and I said tot he line cook«You guys are doing a great job! That food was delicious!!» I’m so excited! I cannot wait to come back! CAN’T WAIT! BURRITOPARILLA I LOOOOOOOVEYOU!!!

Since we’ve moved at the beginning of the years, we’ve been attempting to scope out the localish food scene to find all the food basics! I found this place which seems to be sorta a fastish Mexican food like place, but with a sit down like atmosphere inside. There are TVs around to almost, kinda give you the sports bar feel, which it’s totally not! So, when you enter you go through an ordering line to pick out your meal and pay. They give you a number to put in a stand at your table. You can a cup to fill your own drinks, so I grabbed some Horchata and we sat. We put the number at the end of the table like the people next to us so nobody could miss it. A random OCD busser flew by and moved them to the wall or back of our table with no word! Like, we weren’t following the rules! Uh, okthanksbye! It was quite rude, but we were hungry so we just sat there quietly as did the other table who got the same fly by! I ordered the Grilled Steak Burrito Suizo — no sauce, just the cheese please! I don’t know why, but I have a thing for burritos… Anything in a culture that throws everything in one dish makes me happy! Especially if they wrap it up in something! I know, it’s typically Americanized. I love all the flavors though! If I am limited to just trying one thing based on time or the size of my belly, I’ll get that one thing then! Ahem, anyway… The grilled steak was great! Nicely seasoned and cooked to a nice medium! That made the whole thing! I had to take home almost half of it for leftovers! I even loved the guac! The boy ordered a couple Grilled Steak Tacos and a Grilled Steak Quesadilla… So, you already know that the steak was spot on! With that said, you know that these were good too! The quesadilla was nice and cheesy and the little tacos came with some lime wedges which made him very happy! All in all it was a very good experience for a place that looks to be sorta fast foodish! It was clean and bright! I highly recommend check it out!

The food was good, but found a piece of gristle in my «el pastor» pork, pretty big one. Hate that. Did not realize this wasn’t a classic«sit down» but a «order, then sit down» type place. That’s okay, but prices are more leaning towards the«full waitress» range. The guacamole was very good and the never-ending chips were served warm — yum! This would get a better rating if prices were a tad lower for waiting to order in a line. Sometimes you want time to think and the pressure is on to not hold up the line!

Closer to a 3.5 stars but it’s worth a visit My favorite part was the fresh pineapple juice they serve! Made fresh and it’s free refill for $ 1.99. It definitely reminded me of the fresh fruit juices my mom would make. I had a carnitas and a pineapple juice(best part) then I had some churros which where amazing and fresh made. I can say it’s a delicious place and the fresh(free refill) pineapple juice was almost a guaranteed 4 stars but the prices are a bit high and the salsas they offer are food but left me wanting more(none of the two were spicy) I would maybe come here again, not sure tho.

We’ve liked it all. Every single bite. After three visits here and trying a variety of dishes, we are convinced that this is the fast casual Mexican restaurant for us. It’s almost always busy, but they keep it clean and well cared for. The setup is in an old BK restaurant and when I first walked in and placed my order, I was not confident. From my first bite, I knew that judging a book by its cover would have been a mistake here. The meat is a very good quality and always seasoned nicely. The rice is tasty. Even the chips and salsa are good. We’ve tried enchiladas and tacos, taco salads and even desserts. Nothing seems to greasy which is nice. Sharing churros and a fried ice cream is the perfect end to a meal here. The prices are reasonable, they’re easy to find and they have plenty of parking. If you find yourself in the area, I would highly recommend a visit to see for yourself.

I used to frequent the location in Lombard… Then I moved… Then this location opened up! :) Delicious fajitas, tacos, and of course burritos! Free chips and salsa! Clean, fresh, fast and decent prices! It’s a beautiful thing!

Both of my visits here have been good experiences. I’d definitely recommend the Mahi Mahi tacos — the salsa and sauce on them are fantastic. The fish itself is okay. Probably the star of the menu is the al pastor. I’ve had it as tacos and as a burrito and both times it’s been seriously fantastic. This place is priced like qdoba and Chipotle, but the portions here are slightly bigger and the meat is slightly better. The free chips for dine in are an added bonus for sure, even if their salsas are only okay. I’ll definitely be coming here for my weekly burrito fix instead of qdoba or Chipotle. It’s no comparison to a legit Mexican restaurant, but compared to the big bjrrito chains it’s far superior.

Listen up, haters, this is hands down the best Mexican food in the area. I live in Carol Stream, and I’m a Mexican food connoisseur. As far as Mexican food goes, this place is on point. I’ve been to their location in Naperville, and I was pumped when I seen they were opening one by my place. My girlfriend and I had lunch here yesterday. She had the chicken burrito, and I got three tacos. Two tacos al pastor, and one grilled steak. The pastor was marinaded perfectly. The flavor was excellent. The steak had great flavor and was very tender. Her burrito was a nice size, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I got the black beans instead of refried beans. They were cooked perfect, and had plenty of flavor. The salsa is homemade, and is very, very good. I truly recommend you give this place a shot of your looking for Mexican for lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

I am completely stoked(That’s a good thing) because I LOVE tacos and they make them exceptionally well. I approached with trepidation, because while I liked the Burrito Parrilla in Naperville I was underwhelmed by the flavors(great presentation though)… we approached hopefully. Gobsmacked! That’s what I was. three tacos(Mexican Style) Chorizo, Steak and Carnitas. every single one of them offering a packed tortilla bursting with flavor(Yeah, I said bursting. just like a bad commercial) really excellent tacos, great presentation. really good rice and beans and a great price. The chips and salsa? Chips goods… salsa almost«ketchupy» BUT, THOSETACOS! Hot sauces? Nice little zing. good flavor. Lisa enjoyed her tacos just as much. A wall of TV’s, we were able to watch Jay Cutler throw a pick and even THAT didn’t dampen my enthusiasm. We’ll be back and back and back.

I went back for tacos, fried ice cream and the pineapple-coconut drink. I’m satisfied enough to bump Burrito Parrilla to 5 stars. I don’t mess around with tacos, so I ordered one al pastor, and one with chorizo. I have say that the chorizo was excellent. Sometimes it can just taste greasy, but here the chorizo was moist and spicy. Likewise, the al pastor was marinated very well, leaving the meat tender and spicy(but different from the chroizo). Cilantro, lettuce and monterey jack were all welcome additions to the taco, and it was hard to say which of the sauces went well with the variety of meats. I’d probably have to try them all. I got a free dessert for joining the mailing list, so I went for the fried ice cream. Which was decently sized. But with an oat, flour and sugar coating it also tasted like the topping for a crisp, and it was very good. Definitely keep this place in mind for great Mexican food!

Rarely do I write a review while I’m still in the act of enjoying my meal, but today I’m dining alone, and I need to rest so that I have the stamina to lick my plate clean. I’ve enjoyed Burrito Parilla in Lombard many times, so I(along with many others) was pretty thrilled when I heard there was another one opening in Wheaton. Okay, okay, I know it’s really Carol Stream. But I’m claiming it anyway, especially since it’s close to the border. If you’ve visited the Lombard location, this has the same offerings, only with a less grand facility. Beginning with the chips and salsa, everything served here is amazing. Today I’m having enchiladas, which I’ve had before, but with white poblano sauce, which is new to me. I know some people think chicken is chicken, but they do it really well here. The rice and beans served as accompaniments are delicious as well. I dig the music, the people who helped me are very friendly, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It doesn’t get much better. I’m pleased to see there’s a drive-thru, especially for the cold winter months when I won’t need to drag my kids out of the car. I’ve heard a person or two complain that drive-thru service is slow, but it’s important to understand that this is absolutely not fast food, and I think the drive-thru would be better used just for pickup of call ahead orders.
