Staff is friendly and good. Food is okay. Perch and pizzas are our go to item for this restaurant. Small pizzas are always buy 1 get 1 free. The pizza is really good. Lots of cheese. I bought a taco salad here yesterday and the lettuce was all wilted and not good. This is a first though as I have had probably 5 or 6 taco salads here before and I’ve never had a problem. It was a take out order or maybe I could have asked for them to make it right. Overall decent.

Every time we go to Caro, we always try to make time to stop at Murdogs before going home. Their pizza is absolutely amazing as well as their calzones(which I know they aren’t a pizza place, but if you’re having trouble deciding on something, those are phenomenal). Their dough balls are also really good, they put a type of Parmesan cheese on them; best we have had in the area. Always good service for my fiancée and I and our 2 year old.

My husband and I go to Murdog’s every weekend. We have gotten to know the staff fairly well and have never been disappointed in service or the food. I love the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Murray’s soups are great! I can’t say I have ever had anything that was bad. Always a nice selection of specials.

This place is just not that good. I’ve tried a few things off of the menu and been disappointed each time. They are pretty fairly priced but the food is pretty mediocre. I’d say to pass if you are thinking about giving it a shot.

I’ve been to Murdogs several times now and the have not been disappointed. The reuben was good and so are their breakfasts. The service is ok and the prices aren’t bad for what you get.

Murdog’s has your typical selection of diner-esque food: hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, sandwiches, etc. I avoid the hamburgers like the plague, as they are usually bone dry. The hot dogs are interesting every once in a while, as they are deep fried, which is rather novel for this area. They have not yet mastered the french fry, however, as they tend to either be undercooked, or(if you order them well done) crispy on the outside and undercooked in the middle. The service is ok, but the wait staff tends to favor the regulars at the expense of the occasional diner, and they’ve probably messed up my takeout order 75% of the time. It’s just habit now to double check that I got everything before I leave the parking lot. Their sandwiches are their strength. Particularly the steak sandwiches. Also, they’re pretty good at deep frying things other than shoestring potatoes. If you find yourself in the mood for deep-fried cauliflower or something, this is the place to go.
