Having been to see David with a computer issue several times, the service has always been first rate and fast. David is a great listener and has been very intuitive in dialing in what the issue is and getting it fixed. His competency is compounded by great customer service skills that are, in my experience, unparalleled. It is obvious that he has a passion for serving the customers who walk through his door. Not much more I can say than if you need computer help, go to David at Computer Booter. He really is as good as it gets.

I took my MAC in for a much needed tuneup. I was really dreading taking my computer to Apple, as it takes weeks to get repaired. Yikes! As an important part of my business relies on my computer processing and turn around times. David had my hard drive replaced and RAM processing speed doubled within a few hours. He was extremely kind, helpful, and thorough explaining issues with the computer, steps to fix it, and promises kept. We couldn’t be happier we have someone we can trust in our neighborhood that provides such outstanding service. Thanks again!

Highly recommend for all needs regarding home electronics repair. I discovered Computer Booter when looking for someone to repair a Nintendo 3DS. The first couple of repair shops I contacted couldn’t do it (just computers and cell phones), but then one referred me to Computer Booter. David was not able to repair the 3DS (it was more than just a broken screen), but he didn’t charge me for it either. I returned a few weeks later to have David transfer all my computer data into one place (involving several hard drives of various types and vintage). He had it completed in a day and instead of payment, took the old hard drives off my hands. I learned that he also makes house-​calls.
The shop boasts a huge comfy sectional sofa and widescreen TV; after school there are usually a few folks playing Mario or some such. David’s dream of a holding tournaments is not far off!

Everything that you could ask for when looking for retro games! Excellent selection among all platforms — NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, and even Virtual Boy! Moreover, David’s customer service is superb (as he actually knows what he’s talking about, unlike Gamestoppers). David’s pricing is both fair and competitive while Computer Booter is quickly becoming a once a week stop for me. I highly recommend all casual to over the top gamers to check this place out.

Beside David having a lot of knowledge on all the tech stuff, repairing things back into shape, and giving you a reasonable price on buying, selling, or trading items. Dave, is a small business owner/​operator that puts people first. I have been to many video game stores and I have never written a Unilocal review before now. But after one trip to Computer Booter I felt compelled to support a business model I believe in. Dave puts more heart and effort into his work/​vision than most. It was truly an experience not to be overlooked. Knowledgeable with computers, an eclectic vintage video game selection and an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome are just some of the things you can expect to experience at this small venue.

I am SO glad this place is back. Excellent selection of retro games, along with killer prices. All games can be tested as David has every system imaginable (even a turboexpress!!). Great place to do business, excellent customer service, will be back regularly.

Really cool owner «Dave» great local shop. It’s good to see people who actually are gamers having local gaming shops. This is how many older shops used to be prior to the huge influx of «Gamestops»
Both times I have been to Computer Booter I have been greeted and had good conversation. The game Selection isn’t the biggest but he does have quality stuff, including hard to find games for all kinds of systems.
One of the coolest things about the shop is he has many systems hooked up so you can try games before you buy them and he is even planning on holding old school gaming tournaments at the shop.
The prices are pretty spot on with Ebay and Videogamepricesharts but he does offer slight discounts if you buy numerous things from the shop… It’s nice to see my money going to a local game shop and not just some online oddity. It’s also great that you get to actually inspect the copies of the games before you buy them and not have to rely on just a picture.

David’s a great guy, knowledgeable, and fair! This is going to be my new favorite vintage game store, and I’m looking forward to see how it fares in the coming year.

I have gone to see David twice this year and today will be my third (typical unlucky iPhone damage). His customer service is top notch, and he never leaves you guessing with what’s going to be done to your equipment. Last time I went into his shop he went above and beyond to call around and get a piece for my phone that he didn’t have. He called me back the same day, and all was good to go. Though I have only used his service for phone repairs, if I did have a computer repair, I would bring it to him without hesitation. I highly recommend David and Computer Booter, you won’t be disappointed!
