It’s not like I’d take off a star for my own school’s radio station! On top of the diverse music variety I also like how they broadcast interviews of students about their life experiences and such. It’s a comforting radio station to hear when walking down the halls of CHS.

Best radio station in the Indianapolis area for music. I had a difficult time finding good music when we moved from Atlanta, GA. Sometimes though, particulary on Sundays they play some very old and sometimes not so great music, and that’s why I take one star off. I’m not going to deduct a star for the mistakes that you hear in the broadcasts, because hey, this is a student run radio station and a learning experience, and they shouldn’t be dinged for that.

Since I moved here in January, I’ve had the worst time finding a good radio station! I took a little road trip a few weeks back and magically discovered 91.3 because they were playing some old school, slightly obscure Radiohead. It was only when I got back home and did some research on this station that I discovered it’s run by Carmel High School! Who knew today’s high schoolers had such good taste in music? Since then I’ve heard some Mazzy Star, New Order, a fantastic cover of Joy Division’s Shadowplay by the Killers, and many other of my favorites! I’ll take one star off because sometimes instead of music, it goes back to what normal high school radio stations talk about– HIGHSCHOOL! Yeah, I know… how could they? This radio station gives me hope about today’s youth! Give it a listen!
