I only dealt with Bob Sargent but I’d recommend steering clear. I was the buyer on a me-​me transaction and found myself either ignored or (when money was involved) handled with extreme bias. I was steered towards Sargent’s preferred lender and misguided frequently by omissions or tactfully-​worded untruths. When I voiced concerns about the septic system (named in the home inspection AND purchase agreement) I was told that legal action would be taken against me if I didn’t perform.
Also, it may be naïve of me to expect directness from a salesperson but it’s certainly NOT what I received. I got compliments and colorful anecdotes from «years of experience» when I wanted facts. I felt «handled» and condescended to. I’d give Sargent a wide margin if I were ever home shopping again.
