Good prices and the food is always fresh. This pizza isn’t greasy at all and the cheese for the breadsticks is one of a kind. Love this food truck!

Amateur hour. Were stationed outside Amazon warehouse, and were very unprepared for the small crowd gathered around the truck. Was able to put my order in within a few minutes but it was apparently lost, as the two people who ordered after me got theirs first. They got it in about 8 minutes. 10 minutes total. Unacceptable for someone with only a 30 min lunch break. When I asked about mine they had no record of it, apologized, and served me next. However, when they messed up the order ahead of me, they compensated him with free breadsticks, but I was not given free breadsticks for my screwed up order. $ 5/slice is some BS anyway. It seems any moron with enough money to buy a food truck seems to think they can succeed. Never visit them, I won’t again. Food tastes like gas station pizza.

I’ve had two experiences with the Neighborhood Pizza food truck during the Indiana Government Center’s farmer’s market season this year and, as a result, I’ve decided that Neighborhood Pizza has earned back one of their missing stars following a couple positive experiences this year that have convinced me that my initial negative customer service experience was a fluke. While I still wouldn’t consider their pizza to be the best of the bunch, the combination of good pizza, good prices and good customer service make me lean toward giving that extra star and moving Neighborhood Pizza up to a 4-star rating. The pizza’s taste has remained fairly consistent from my first review, though it seems like they’ve managed to keep it a bit fresher. The breadsticks do taste somewhat improved and on at least one truck visit, they were also experimenting with offering a marinara option for the breadsticks that I found pretty darn delightful. Neighborhood Pizza really earns an extra star based upon the improved customer service experience and the addressing of my other concerns from my initial visit. While I have no idea if they’ve read this review, I will state that the crew on both occasions this year has been stellar and my concerns about service have been non-existent. The practical matter from last time involving the plate? On both occasions that I’ve visited this year, they’ve gone out of the way to make sure I’m able to appropriately carry and protect my pizza and breadsticks, still well priced, and have actually gone the extra step and come out of the truck to hand me the pizza — sometimes, I worry about being in the wheelchair and reaching up to windows as it seems to offer the chance of dropping a food item. In all likelihood, the incident involving the ISP officer was more of a fluke. I’ve certainly not experienced anything similar and am comfortable with the idea that it was a combination of honest mistake and the tendency that most restaurants/food establishments have of giving a slight tip o’ the hat to those in uniform out of respect. While I’d still state that it was rude, I’m willing to let go of it as recent customer service experiences have been overwhelmingly positive and attentive. Neighborhood Pizza also offers whole pie options, 7″ QTPie’s for birthday parties, breadsticks, salads, and drinks($ 1 for water and $ 2 for soft drinks — I noted on their website that it’s $ 2 for a 2-liter, though I don’t believe that’s the sizing at the food truck). Overall, Neighborhood Pizza is a solid option. It seems like they listened to customer feedback and changed a couple things. To me, that’s always a plus. While I’m not going to call the experience or the pizza a 5-star experience, it’s certainly a place I’ve come to look forward to patronizing when they show up for the weekly farmer’s market.

The pizza is excellent and FAST! I ordered and received my slice within two minutes. I ordered a side salad and it came loaded with cheese, tomatoes, green peppers, and black olives on a bed of mixed greens. The pizza itself is super thin. The pepperoni slice was very good, though not the best slice I have ever had. The veggie, however, was AMAZING. It was loaded with vegetables, but they were small pieces, so they didn’t overwhelm the crust. I have to knock it down a star because it was $ 2 for a can of soda. I understand that there is overhead, but most other food trucks charge $ 1 or less for drinks.
